CEO & Exec Office email address for complaints

41
Found 19th Feb
I have been known to make a few complaints in my time when things go wrong - have always found it much quicker to go to an exec/CEO office email rather than the general complaints procedure

Just a reminder, the website gives a list of CEO email addresses which is handy if you need to make a complaint and get your issue resolved.

A few things from personal experience:

  • Tesco CEO office - have always found a speedy response to resolving the issue

  • eBay - have found emailing the UK MD the most effective when had an issue

  • The banks - generally the banks do not like complaints given that they have to report complaint numbers to the FCA. If things do go wrong, worth checking exec office email addresses or if by phone to express dissatisfaction and not to close the complaint until you are happy that its been resolved

Have an issue with a Switch order on Tesco direct. Should I go to customer service email or director's email?

Why not ? This is very helpful...

Helpful is not a deal.
Twitter is far more effective than any customer letter nowadays, particularly if you have a decent number of followers.
Wish i could find the company i was with doing a homestudy course over 10yrs ago now, 2yrs of my life wasted, 5k and all qualifications gone cuz they went bust and never even informed their students
Anyone had any experience with Amazon.co.uk complaints?

Daughter pre-ordered limited edition vinyl album weeks before release but it wasn't dispatched at release date and Amazon have now cancelled the order as they cannot source stock. Only logical explanation I can think of is that they never had any in the first place or accepted orders long after whatever limited stock they did have was ordered.

Daughter is resigned to not getting it now but we cannot find it available anywhere else and after going on live chat was given a £5 voucher as consolation.

Realistically is this the best she can hope for or is it with pursuing further? There is a non limited edition version (which costs more than the limited edition one did!) and she'd be chuffed with getting that for free as compensation but what are the chances?

Normally happy with Amazon but very disappointed with this whole episode.

Who cares, it's a handy thing to have isn't it
You need to be a little careful with some of the information as some is outdated. For example, Superdry's CFO is stated as Shaun Wills left in Feb 2015. telegraph.co.uk/fin…tml

Yeah... Lots 😋 they used to be brill but have gone down the pan more recently. If you're doing livechat you have to keep saying you're not happy and asking to speak to the manager, then that manager's manager etc. When you're on the 3rd or 4th manager they might actually do something, but if not the next manager will email you

Its really stupid... I'm not shopping with amazon anymore.

what are you after? I have had a few complaints recently and they have been handled well, return items for refunds or exchange and if they have been at fault £5 and a free month of prime.
I've also found this works well and the Complaints Resolver too is good.

Some usefull CC's you might want to put in to your emails to the CEOs:

BBC Watchdog: watchdog@bbc.co.uk
Trading Standards: nationaltradingstandards@actso.org.uk
Ombudsmen list (find the correct ombudsmen): citizensadvice.org.uk/con…nd/
Awesome! I love complaining

It also depends if it's sent by Amazon themselves, fulfilled by Amazon or sent by a 3rd party. But in my experience, they've handled my issues well.
TY OP and all
Thanks

Very useful
I can't believe Vodafone isn't on the list as I've found their basic customer service to be shocking. Email the CEO for better service.

Currently on a years free contract with Vodafone after they attempted to use a few dodgy tactics to screw me out of money, such as threatening me with my credit score. Woman on the phone seemed to be a pathological liar, and to nobodies surprise their recording of my call got "corrupted". Threatened me over the phone with a contract that hadn't even started yet, got a call by one of the higher ups apologising and offering a year free. Still reported it, and will tell em where to go when it ends

Vodafone and mobiles.co.uk can suck a fat one.

I was in a similar scenario of complaining eventually got £20 in amazon vouchers but took maybe 98 minutes for them to understand there was an issue with what they were doing.
Heated, have used that site a fair few times over the years, very helpful if you are thinking of writing a complaint.

Hiya, I’m really struggling to find the contact details for the ceo or premier inn hotels. I’ve tried the search option but there isn’t any names or contact details. Anyone help please
Simon Jones is the MD of Premier Inn and restaurants since all their email address start with full name separated by a dot between first and surname I would reckon this would be it. simon.jones@whitbread.com

Thanks to this post I finally received a refund from curry's pc world after being treating like a piece of crap since December. I was being ignored and was about to send a letter of final warning before court action but decided to forward my last complaint to the ceo of currys. I also cc'd trading standards and watchdog. I Received an apology and full refund less than 12 hours of sending the email!

I would have to agree with some others and say that their customer service is going downhill. Having used them since 1998 (when they first started up in the UK) I have had many order / delivery issues and their response has been quite poor so I have stopped using them. For a parcel that was apparently personally handed over to me at home (when I was at work and no one was at home) they asked me to go and ask people down the street to see if anyone had it - no one did but I can only visit so many houses in an evening and how far down the street do you go? Like you I have also had a few items cancelled / refunded with then no way of getting the item elsewhere or at the original deal price. I would take the £5 and learn lessons from it. They are a massive company and us as individuals don't really matter that much to them.
Thank you for this.
I have had a problem with 3 polo shirts from TM Lewin shrinking in the wash - the store has been very bad in sorting it out.
I have now emailed the CEO.
This is why PAs exist.
