The early purchaser's of approx 1 day ago at higher price of £114 will be peeved
This will fly now.
What's the difference between this one and the pulse one you posted?
These are cheap enough to mess with a couple crossfired but would there be much benefit for games ?
The only difference here is the rated boost clock – the Pulse card runs up to 1366MHz, whereas the Nitro+ is slightly faster at up to 1411MHz

I read somewhere that the 6 pin power socket is optional is this true as my psu only has one 6 pin output and I'm thinking I might buy this and a converter to make it an 8

Thanks man happy to be a part i really like the website so far. I missed out on that rx 590 deal for £110 today by like 10 minutes gutted.

Is this much better than a sapphire Radeon 390 nitro??
Been watching this seller for a while.
(my eBay list is full out RX 580's that say "Outbid" )
£100 for a Nitro version with a 1 year warranty is sooo tempting right now.

I don't think this would be too much of an upgrade performance wise, but it would consume less power. I would suggest you consider Navi or wait for Navi 2.

The benefits of the extra 4GB RAM are debatable, but this is a really good price and the Nitro+ variants are excellent cards. Great build quality. A step up from Sapphire's own - also good - Pulse range. IHeat.

not much of an upgrade!, however... u can still get a decent £50 on ebay for a 390 at times, even with that added into the mix and
£50 upgrade..... hmm.. .... id stick n wait.. but im on the fence though..

Nitro+ has a bigger cooler, RGB Sapphire badge (!) and has an extra 6-pin socket too. I’d pay the extra £5 for the Nitro+, it is arguably the best RX series cooler ever. At under £100, this is truly crazy pricing.

Not much of an upgrade but probably uses half the power! Also, RX pulls ahead in newer games. I found the R9 just got hot without actually doing much with newer titles!

Currently running a 1050ti. Would this be an appreciable upgrade?
Damn. I wasn't going to buy but did, at start of the week - for 115. I should always trusts my instincts - which said DON'T buy. But the OTT praise for this pushed me into buying.

Possibly use parcel Wizard for shipping to Northern Ireland and then on to you?
I'm one of the ones that paid £115 the other day, it is due to arrive on Monday. Do you think there is any chance of getting the £16 refunded, as Amazon does sometimrs? Or what are my rights to cancel the original purchase and buy this one at £99?

I believe so as own this card and got it in an 8 pin in Mac Pro 2010. I bought one of those converters for my PC but probably not a good idea power wise from more research. TBH you'd be better getting a 1650 super (especially now the updated drivers have made it more on par). That's what I've got for my 390 watt PSU P500. It probably will work fine with the adaptor but have read if you're pushing GPU and CPU (happens in some games!) It can overload and shut down. It's probably unlikely though.
Just got it! Was going to buy it for 115 but I forgot... What an amazing deal!!

up to the seller, contact them and ask if they are willing to give you a partial refund, no harm in asking.

you are buying from a business seller so you can still change your mind and send it back, you may however, get hit with the postage costs ( both ways) , though so i am not sure if that would be cost efficient solution.

yes, about twice as fast and great card for fullhd gaming.

Yes. You could sell your 1050TI for £70-80 on EBay making this a solid upgrade.
Been holding out until I build a new PC, but couldn't resist. The 580 nitro+ to replace a r9 270x on an old, but very reliable gaming rig that has only just started to struggle with max graphics on current games. A sabertooth 990fx with 9000 series am3+ processor 32gb ram, 1tb drive and 500gb SATA. Considering the sabertooth only has pcie 2 and not 3 (as far as I'm aware) and it is over 7 years old, it's doing well. Damn spontaneous buys, will probably need to start my new rig now.

It's the power consumption that puts me off these, much higher than the Geforce equivalents & also my main use would be Zwift which runs better on Geforce cards. Great price though!

unless you do 24/7 mining we talk about few quid a year difference in electricity costs and the amount could be reduced by undervolting.
Anyone know if you need to use both 6pin and 8pin together ? Seems a bit odd.

You only need the 8pin. The 6pin socket is there if you want to add more power because you're seriously overclocking it.

If you're not overclocking it, just the 8pin will be fine.
Looking for a GPU for new Ryzen 3700X build primarily for photo & video editing and some light gaming ie Fortnite. Will this be ok? Was looking at the RX570 previously.
Worth upgrading my gtx 980 for this?

For me, i just have left an itx board to fit it altogether (+possible alternate cpu cooler). Prices are quite high though, though i might just bite the bullet

For reference how good this deal is, it was 250 GBP brand new in Amazon in 2019. Even on refurb or on 2nd hand prices, I think this is quite a decent deal.
