I ordered this from them. Arrived very quickly. Item looked brand new in sealed original box with driver CD and paperwork.

Haven't tested the card yet as my mb still hasn't arrived from CCL.
price to performance the others cards i just listed are more value, but they are not this spec...... for £114.99 refurb rx580 nitro + is not a COLD DEAL lol...
I got 2 x 4gb versions of these from there for £135 and turned up next day in new boxes, but not tried the cards yet... Not sure the 8gb version is worth like £45 more each though

valid point on the £45 if u look at it like that, on the other foot if u compare what these cards are usual..

quite alot of votes on this on both sides, so far pointing abit more cold, so depends how u look at things.

Is this the same one that is selling for £170 on Amazon? If so it's crazy that people are voting cold.
I ordered one of these sunday, arrived Tuesday. Looks mint! Great buy as Nitro+ are decent cards!!! Especially benig on a tight budget as I was!

After doing a lot of research online I decided the 8gb was worth the extra investment as a lot of games are starting to require 5gb vram already so decided the 8gb was more future proof. Also it was my understanding that the card can be overclocked to make it a rx 590.

Do you think the 4gb was the better option?

i bought one last week for £170 @ Amazon

it was an emergency so didnt have time to browse around to find better deals,
but i would still have bought it brand new to have 3 year warranty
its a good card for temps (22c idle, ~45-50c in games, ~55c benchmarking)
but it's not a huge jump up in performance from my 7950 it replaced (possably being bottlenecked by my CPU, i7 920 at 3.2ghz)

EDIT: hmm, just been searching around about the warranty to see if i need to register my card, and its possable the warranty is only 2 years, the little info i can find is a bit conflicting

the thing is, if i posted this deal only this would of been ++++ .. its only cold cos majorty just look at price and not what this card is in regards to 8gb and being a prem card too.. i personal think u made a very wise choice.
out of these 5 posts...... 130 have just been sold, lol.

How is this cold when NITRO+ is widely regarded as the best cooler on any RX 580 but Pulse at £5 less is hot?!

Probably uses half the power though.

they see 8gb..... nothing further..... they see 4gb alot cheaper and dont understand between prem cards there is a big gap between 4gb/8gb...... and some with some knowledge of gpu's...... i.e they know models like RX570 rx580 n rams rather then brand/versions, they seen the 4gb RX price set at something on the web for months at XYX, and then 8gb not much higher and dont take into the account the 4gb is a prem and the 8gb is the budget version....

But this is the 8GB? It's literally the best 580 on the market and only £5 more than the Pulse 8GB. Also 8GB VRAM is clocked 14% faster. This is a killer card for the money (and for anyone still crypto mining )

i complete agree but thats how they see it pal, and thats from user feedback on people i always talk too.

if u look at the RRP of this item, if u bought it from a shop in its prime day, it would be the cost of a lower budget RX590..... and thats the problem with prem cards with so little room in prices between GPU's too many bleeding model numbers... only those who understand the "prem range" will understand the value.

but yes only a £5er here, but the trend continues on pal..

I have this card and other than it being huge it is quiet and runs cool. Also looks great and the fans are decent quality. No wobbly spindles like Gigabytes...
I bought this one, I think its the best one Realtime_Distribution have to offer from their refurbs atm.
I almost bought the Pulse but for £5 I def think this one is worth it.
Price per fps its a fantastic card.

Also, I am shocked at the low temp of this deal. Especially compared to the others sarden84 posted (which were also good deals but imo this and the 580 pulse are the stars)

Amazon only give a 2 year warranty on Sapphire cards - elsewhere it's three years. No registration required - go via the seller for RMA, unless they refuse; in which case, Sapphire will RMA directly.

I've never had an issue.with Sapphire support, but I've read a few horror stories. It seems a common theme however: ask politely and Sapphire bend over backwards to assist. Fail the attitude test and they'll be pedantic so'n'sos.
For the £5 difference the Nitro+ cards are waaaay better than the pulse. The heatsink is huge and has like 5 heatpipes running through it. I paid £20 more to get the Nitro+ over the pulse in 2018. It runs much much cooler and the fans barely have to work to keep it cool. Result= can be overclocked much more and is still quieter than the pulse.
I ended up going for the 4gb version, slightly doubting whether this would have been the better option for an additional £35?

I did notice they also had the RX 570 8GB NITRO+ for £84.99 which I suspect is the best of everything or the 8GB 470 for £69.99. Basically all of these cards are great value. I have no doubt though, that they are probably RMA failed former mining cards sent back under warranty that have been recertified by AMD and resold. It doesn't matter, they should make great bargain gaming cards.

Great for the budget PC folks I thought..

Over 140 sold last night,

It's a truly ridiculous deal. I would upgrade the loft gaming PC card but it has a Corsair Air 240 case and the physical height and shroud size rules it out. Same story with some of the workstations in the office. Otherwise I'd bite their hands off for an overclocked, quiet, high-performance card like this.
Just got this to replace an aging GTX 670! It fought a good fight, but with my new game pass sub it's struggling. As I only have time to fire it up once or twice or month this price point vs performance is perfect for me. Cheers OP
I'd highly recommend the new AMD drivers 'auto-overclock' feature for these cards if you get them. It pushed my 480 Nitro+ way faster than a 580 clocks so should be even better with a 580! Apart from extra fan noise its free FPS.

I asked them about this and this was their response...

"Good Morning,
We have sourced all these cards directly from Sapphire.
They have been fully refurbished, tested and come in new box, with 12 months warranty.
Unfortunately as we have over 4,000 cards in stock, we do not have history of each single line and we do not know what they have been used for.
Sapphire normally didn't accept returns from 'miners' as such it is unlikely that these were used for mining, although we cannot guarantee that.
Kind Regards"

I dont think Id mind if it was a ex mining card tbh, I hope they refurbished the fans thought, thats my only worry with mining cards.

They won’t know if they’re mining cards! Miners don’t exactly tell them that’s what might’ve killed it! In fact, miners undervolt, underclock and keep them dust-free so it’s almost always the fans that are the issue. I expect they’ve tested them, cleaned dust, replaced fans and repasted the heatsinks. Mining causing damaged cards is an urban myth.

Just buy and enjoy. This is a bargain.

Thanks for this, was after a GPU to replace my old one which wasn't compatible with Photoshop/Lightroom, so hoping this will sort out my very laggy rendering for not a huge amount of money.
So I have had the card about a week. Running at 1500 gpu / 2250 mem. Cool as you like! Very happy with the card! Stable as anything.
I bought the RX 470 8GB as it's nearly half the price but has the all important 2000Mhz 8GB memory (and slightly lower clocks that you can make up with an OC, 4 less CUs, but anyway...). It was a great find and as the seller is VAT registered that'll be claimed back too. So an 8GB RX 470 with the best cooler for £55 ex. VAT, happy with that! Cards are very good condition. Nice find OP.
Could someone who has received either this or the 4GB version confirm if it comes with the original retail box, cables etc?
Would potentially be a present so would be nicer to have at least the box and cables. Thanks!

I ordered the 8gb. Came in a sealed sapphire box with driver CD and instructions. Not the original box however a more simple refurb box.

That sounds promising, would the box have some sort of graphics or logo on it or just standard cardboard. I mean he should be happy with the present either way but would be nicer if its a bit more "presentable"
