About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

NOTE: You need to use code BIRTHDAY20

I own a few of these cables, but haven't had the chance to test the 2.1 capabilities yet. However, they are very well built and the QR codes on the packaging do validate with the HDMI app thingamajig. Others in a previous deal have also stated the cables work with the HDMI 2.1 functions.

Apparently it's Kenable's 20th birthday so they have 20 per cent off of pretty much everything. I recommend taking a look around, their prices are usually pretty good. Also their customer service in my experience has been excellent.

There are also other lengths for a good price on their site.

    What's the difference between 2.1 and 2.0

    2.0 can't display 4K @ 120HZ

Nice cables bought them last time they were on offer

Yeah, great company & quality products that don't cost the Earth!
Have used their eBay & Amazon stores more often over the years as the items are cheaper delivered on those platforms, except may be when they have discount offers like this. (edited)

As long as your laptop has HDMI out, should be great this cable is potentially overkill though, but still a great price (and futureproof) nonetheless!

Think this might be overkill for connecting an old Android box to my TV, would this one be more suited?
    Avatar
That's HDMI 1.4 which is very old, just get this 2.1 hdmi cable and future proof yourself for when you do upgrade

These cables are great. I got a Denon av receiver last year and had all sorts of handshake issues between the avr, tv sky box, xbox etc. Replaced all my cables with these and it's been plain sailing ever since. Cheap as chips too!

Yup, I've replaced all of my cables too! (I like the consistency) but I probably need to label them in some way because on the one rare occasion I had to move one so far, I got a bit confused which one went where haha

Voted hot. I've replaced my high specs Ugreen with this one. The Ugreen was £15 and my soundbar didn't perform well, this one was about £3.50-4 and performs as it should. Ugreen felt more premium and better built, but didn't deliver.

Already had 2 different brand 2.1 hdmi cables when I bought my 4k120 Tv one was ultra certified the other was not, not that it made any difference none of them worked one wouldnt even give a signal out and the other would just black screen every 10 mins or so. Replaced them with the Pro versions of these from kenables was around £6 each which was a lot cheaper than the defective ones I had already bought and everything works perfect now

People swearing they can tell the difference

I can definitely tell a difference between 60Hz and 120Hz.

I've never seen any 8K content, but I would guess I probably can't tell a difference between 4K and 8K.

But yes, the brand of the HDMI cable probably doesn't any difference as long as they meet the spec.

Check your display properties (settings or right click on desktop).
Sounds like you're extending displays rather than duplicating.

Need a HDMI cable to connect Mac Studio to HD Dell Monitor. Will this work?
    Avatar

I'd assume so as long as the Dell has an HDMI input (I'm guessing they do)
