For those who are not up for Loratadine.
Quite sure it's national deal, as it is "Reduced to clear" (from £1,50), so availability might be patchy.
Expiration date on ones I've got: 06.2017.

you expecting sun?
Good price. And I take these all year round due to various allergies. I usually buy from Chemist Direct in bulk, but these work out at a similar price.
very useful
I got some of these at this price today, cheers
I cleared my local Tesco Express of these last week. I take them daily all year round so stock up when on offer :-)
Bargain ill have a look tomorrow
I hope they still have lots...
The cheapest I have ever found before was Galpharm brand tablets at 79p for 14..
I take these as it calms my itching and burning sensations.
But speaking to a specialist and these are a temporary fix.
Why is everyone else taking them all year round, I am intrigued.

It's just too good of a price not to stock up for next summer!
My daughter has been prescribed these for her eczema as she is constantly itchy. Does anyone know of any side affects from taking these? I sometimes give her piriton at night which helps her sleep better

i get itchy, heat bumps etc. it's wierd because I only take half a tab and it lasts 2 or 3 days before the itchiness comes back. does the job a treat though

As per leaflet - they do put an extra strain on kidneys (consult doctor before taking them).
I used Cetirizine for years. Though I used to wonder why, when i stopped taking them (or ran out of pills). I would get very irritable, get strange itching / numbness in my hands and would have trouble sleeping. I discovered that these were all withdrawal symptoms!! Crazy I know for an everyday off the shelf drug.

Google "Cetirizine Withdrawal" and you will see this is worryingly common side effect, so be wary people!

Anyone else affected, try switching to Loratadine. Worked for me.

I get the strange itch as well and it is all over my body if I miss taking them for over 3/4 days..
I panic if out and about in case people think I have got fleas..
Been on them 4 over 10 years & doctors have never found out why I need them, even after multiple tests...
So, like yourself, I keep taking them
Been to Tesco today, but no deals..
They were £1.50...
Back to Home Bargains at £0.79p for 14

Sorry to hear that your trip to the shop was not as you wanted.

Wow that interesting. My daughter and I were tested and told we both have severe allergies to dust mite and hayfever and really were suffering. We both take cetirizine and Avamys nose spray since about 6 months. The Doc said we could take a break in September so I did but had a number of these sypmtoms mentioned especialiity trouble sleeping so I am back on them now. But this is worryinggg.....
