Since the new Xbox One is out, CEX has cut the price of many 360 games, I brought two games today and the staff said on both "It's cheaper than this now" so I checked online and many more are cheaper:

Kinect Adventures: 50p
GTA 4: £6
Assassins Creed III (2 disc): £10
Gears of War: £1,50
Gears of War 2: £1.50
Gears of War 3: £4
Hitman Absolution: £4
Halo Reach: £4
Dead Island: £5 (£6 for GOTY)
Far Cry 2: £1.50
Medal of Honor: £2.50
Medal of Honor Warfighter (2 disc) £5
Ghost Recon Future Soldier: £5
Crysis 2: £4
Deus Ex: £3
Forza 4 essensials: £6
Borderlands: £4
Dance Central: £4
Oblivion: £4
Dead Space 2: £4
Left for Dead 1: £6
Forza 3 Ultimate Edition: £3
Fable 2 GOTY: £3
Assassins Creed 2, GOTY £4

These are some which I have noticed are either really cheap as compared to online, or have had a price reduction. Some other great deals also not on here, £2.50 P&P or are available in most CEX stores. Any more great prices please add them.

You should include the price of a gas mask, lord knows it's needed when going in to CEX.

    No it wasn't -
    Xbox 360 - November 22, 2005
    Oblivion - March 20, 2006

They've cut loads of prices across the shop - when I was in my local store last Wednesday the staff were in the middle of repricing everything, with miles and miles of sticker paper strewn everywhere. They'd also stuck notices up saying that most prices had dropped and that you could take items to the till to check prices before they finished repricing. I was mainly looking at PS3 games and most had dropped by around £2 (example Uncharted 3: GOTY was priced at £7 but scanned at £5).
Always best to go in store as you can inspect the quality before buying. I dunno why people hate CEX so much, they are great (sometimes) Heat added!

Birmingham, so yes. Although most people who work in retail have a bath every now and then, CEX staff don't seem to understand that concept. Maybe they're using second-hand water.
You can find the Bioshock and Oblivion multi disc game for £5 too. Not many around though
    good thanks

    Hmm.
The one in Cheltenham is the same as the one in Bristol. Both stink of body odour, stock thrown about everywhere, and general scum selling stolen gear. For town centres both Bristol and Cheltenham are fairly clean.

    No bought them at CEX
CEX, the place where hippies meet chavs, it's bound to cause a stink.
Gears of war 2 can be had for 99p in Game, picked up a copy at the weekend
In the Bristol cex the queues are stupid. Takes about an hour to get served with about 8 staff behind the counter. Then when I finally get to the till they can't find the discs. The best thing about the shop is the people walking in to glass doors
Cold. Been like this for ages. NOT a deal:(
The store in Glasgow doesn't smell, and has friendly staff. Never had any issue with stuff purchased there, or online.

The online £2.50 delivery charge is a lot for a single purchase, but if you buy 5-10 blu-rays or games it will still be £2.50
Good prices, but would definitely buy in store. I've bought online once and discs/boxes were a mess, missing manuals etc.

Off topic; CEX are generally really good - but not too impressed at their pricing of Xbox One and PS4 though (£550 and £520). Obviously they're a business like any other, but it's significantly more than RRP which given the current stock issues could be seen as flagrant profiteering.

    Halo Wars - £5
    Prototype 2 - £6
GTA IV - Episodes from Liberty CIty - £6
Call of Duty - World at War - £6
    Resident Evil 5 - £3
    Mafia 2 - £6
    Elder Scrolls Oblivion - £4
    Defiance - £4
    Hitman Blood Money - £3
Saints Row the Third Full Package - £10 (includes all DLC)
C&C3 - Tiberium Wars - £5 (command and conquer, personally recommend)
    C&C3 - Kanes Wrath - £8
    Dragon's Dogma - £6
    Risen 2 - £5
    Ninja Gaiden 3 - £5
    Tropico 3 - £5

Most of these are decent games and an absolute bargain, average price a fiver. Brilliant.
    WOW
    WOW
Might go pick up Forza 3
    Blimey What a Great Deal
