Make sure you tie the lid down when putting this away as rain will get in otherwise and make the sand all soggy! Paid same price last year at homebase, my 2 yr old daughter loves it.

I was thinking about getting this for my 2 yr old. How many bags of sand do I need to fill 1 side of it ?
Also seen this as well any 1 no if its any good and whats the quality like

also to keep the cats out

have one very similar to this, and it works a treat in the snow as a sledge !!

I bought this in pink yesterday. It is great but why is it a hot deal when it is the same price it always is? Anyone who looks in the Argos catalogue can find it!
My kids are 1,4,6,8 and 9 and they love it. I bought 3 bags of sand and that has been fine for my lot! The more thats in there the more will come out!

i was just sharing a good buy. Thought other parents could benefit from it.
unlike some people who rarely post anything here. I'll just expire it.

Maybe you should have put it as a 'heads up'. Not quite sure what 'unlike some people who rarely post anything here' is all about. Lots of people post deals on a daily basis, they are usually really good prices, and whilst you have posted something you thing is good value, it is not a special offer as it is it's full usual price!

For those who thought my post was rubbish...it's even in Playpennies
Quoting 'So this sand and water pit is a total winner for parents who’s tots love some messy fun and don’t have a beach nearby.'

No one said it was rubbish. It would have probably done well as a heads up, hot tip value for money. It is good value, it's just the same price it always is. I am now pretty gutted though as trhis afternoon mine have turn the sand into sea and the sea one into sand...grrr and the sand was so bloody expensive!
Personally I don't give a monkeys what 'playpennies' says! Who the heck are they?
