Chad Valley fun farm house £89.99 at Argos half the price of other similar houses! Little tykes models are about £350+ and this house is fantastic granted not as sturdy (but is sturdy enough) as a more expensive item but still lots of fun and looks and fab in the garden comes in two colour ways a bright green and red or a more toned down grey and red. I love that it has little fences on each side so the kids have a mini garden to play in and a flower box on the window with a shutter! Cute little half door is fun for kids but they don't trap them selves in so that's a bonus! Colourful stickers are on the side of the house and easily big enough for a table and chairs both my kids 1 and 3 love it! Really great little house for summer that is lots of fun but much cheaper than other houses and still great quality! Online and instore!

Thankyou!

Tempted... Our little boy is 1 in July and I was thinking about getting this for his birthday. Maybe he's a bit too young for it?

Watch out for these they are very light ours went over a 6ft fence in a storm, look at other threads on here for similar houses and you will see lots of the same comments. Reason there is a difference in price between these and little tykes

Have to agree ours got broken in bits with the last stormy weather and had a fair bit of uv damage, it was just over a year and a half old.

* Please note item 3678680 has previously been on sale at 79.99.

Put it away in winter I wouldn't have my kids out in stormy cold weather anyway it takes 30 mins to make so easy to take down I don't have £400 to spend on a plastic house so for me it's a bargain that my kids love and could easily be used indoors I bought it because I wanted one this bank holiday so saving a tenner from when it was £79.99 ages ago didn't bother me.

Personally I'd buy a second hand little tykes for a similar price, they're built to last plus resale value is great. You'll be lucky if this lasts a year, moderate wind snapped my daughters leaving ridiculously sharp edges.

If it lasts the summer for this price I'll be happy each to their own.

I said its not as sturdy as a little tykes obviously it's a quarter of the price! But I like it and I'm happy with it so I shared it if you don't like it don't buy it! If it goes over a fence I'll be taking it back it's a kids plastic house I'm not getting a mortgage on a real one! Hardly a life or death decision.

I agree with hunter82, I got my boy a second hand little tikes for £70 last year and it didn't budge in the windy winter weather that's just past. Also, if you buy a flimsy one and are not bothered about it flying over a 6ft fence, please think about your neighbours. My folks had their neighbours 8ft trampoline fly over the fence into their patio window!!

Wow someone is touchy, personally if someone told me what people had told you I would accept the advice or at least be a little nicer. not everyone will have room to store it over a winter and ours wasn't a winter storm that blew it over the fence, we were lucky it was 4am in the morning when it went over and landed on a drive just lucky neither ours and the neighbours car was not there that night.

Have a look on ebay plenty of good quality second hand ones on there or even pay the extra and get a real one that way you might get more than a year out of it.

And it seems decent enough for 50 quid!

lol.. so Argos have put the price up a tenner and its still a sale item.. so so cold

If your happy buying second hand that's great good for you I'll stick to this fingers crossed it's ok. I've got more important things to worry about.

We bought this last year in a different colour and it did slide across our yard in the wind. It is still in perfect condition one year later after being outside all that time. I just gave it a blast with the hose to get all the muck etc off it.

The little tykes one is a bargain at that price but I don't like the end bit suppose it depends what you like. I wonder if you could tie it down like a tent some how. It might move but it's a bit of fun for the kids might buy more of a play centre when the kids are older.

We had similar and it cracked a little and we got a local handbuilt wooden one.the plastic one is used to store scooters and outside toys in a more sheltered area and has actually lasted 6 yrs now so if it can be put in a more shelterd area it would be ok.Ive had a 10ft trampoline take off and that was much heavier than a little tykes wendy house.

We had the same one for nearly 10 years without the end piece, sure it will come off, it's been climbed on, kids sitting on the roof and still going strong, gave it to local school last summer, you might have more important things to worry about but for me quality counts and that one will last but the other certainly won't last as long. Good luck with what ever you buy.

Get this one instead, had ours up since last year and hasn't budged little tikes £89

I've already bought this one the picture is in my garden I think it's ok I guess anything will move with enough wind and stormy weather.

Fantastic value for money, my daughter is delighted with it!!
