It's the one I have for my little boy, it do the job .

looks something similar to the ones they have at my gym, and if they are, they're very good.

My mum actually bought this 2 days ago, and I can safely tell you it's ****

For all that noise, there's not much air at all

Refrigerate

It is a little noisy, but mine pushes a fair amount of air through (although I got mine over a year ago, no idea if they've changed it at all).

Really noisy, even on the lowest setting, but it whips up a decent gust.

I kind-of agree with Refrigerate, though - you're left wondering if the end result justifies all that noise.

Do Argos pay for reviews, because it seems to have far too many 5* reviews rather that the quick honest negative ones on here...
personally I've found over the years that you get what you pay for with fans, but not voting.

I brought TWO of the 18" 'uns at £26.99, which seemed a good deal to me.... got a Gym at home, so not 'too' bothered about the noise, hoping for a lot of air flow, though...!

got this last year, and took it back the same day. waste of money. nothing to lock the fan in position, so when its on it just start to point to the ceiling.

I work at Argos and we have these on in the back.....really powerful!

will be a great pc cooling fan lol

The 18" version is good as it pushes out loads of air and feels like a gale (and sounds like one), this small one is like small pc case fans, all noise but very little air movement.
