the alba of the tool world

the 'challenge' is to make them last more than 2 uses

bargain price even if they only last to finish one job !! ,the alternates look ok too

thanks to OP but these really are dire tools

If you dont get this deal - you can probably make a similair set up in poundland for a similar price and quality!

To build up a set like this from quality tools would be in the hundreds. As a starter set for the occasional use in home maintenance it is hard to beat. :thumbsup:You can't get a carpenter/plumber/builder to answer the phone for £16:whistling:
HOT IMHO (and I like quality tools and do appreciate the difference!)

As I've put in the OP, good for a 'starter' kit. Not everyone can spend hundreds creating a kit like this out of really good tools

great deal bought one for use about the house, my son uses it for small little jobs, and saves
my good tools from being used/abused.......have some heat

Cheap tools - a complete and utter total waste of money

Voted cold

Except the occasional user wont need most of the tat in that set.

Better to put the 16 quid towards some half decent tools that will be needed / used

Ive had a challenge angle grinder for a year now still going strong and does the job well,I dont think their tools are that bad!

I agree that as a starter kit it is fine.... I have had plenty of tools from Argos, some ****, some great....

If you have just brought your first house for example and can't afford much money but want to do a bit of DIY...

"better to put the £16 towards some half decent tools" - you wouldn't even get a decent set of screwdrivers for £16 and then you wouldn't have anything else that is included in this set.
