With high power and a slim design, the Challenge Dual Action Car Polisher is suitable for polishing, buffing and sanding bodywork. It also features variable speed control for optimum versatility, and an adjustable front handle for maximum performance, low vibration and comfort. The set includes the polisher and 1 sanding pad.

The random orbit dual action means you won't polish the same section continuously, but it will oscillate in random orbits reducing the risk of damage to your vehicle's paintwork. It operates from the mains for continuous power, so you can use it for as long as you need to.

  • Internal manufacturer's 1 year guarantee.

Bargain. Get some SPTA pads and some Menzerna and away you go. A million YouTube guides to help too.
Roughly how much extra would you have to fork out for a decent backing plate and any other necessary bits? (apart from pads and compounds)
This’ll get my new TV sparkling clean
Absolute bargain, I have two of these. Brilliant tool, highly recommend.

What are these and why do you recommend them? Does it not just work straight out of the box ? Thx
"suitable for polishing, bugging, and sanding"
Unfortunately, the difference between each is only a few seconds

Thanks for that. I will check these places out. I’ve got some decent polish and wax from poor boys and meguiars, so would like to do it properly.

The standard pad is just far to big, with the smaller backing plate you can use the smaller pads which are easier to use.
Hex pads just means they come in different grades, a bit like sand paper how some are rough and others fine. You can use a pad for cutting which removes the paint or polishing what fills tiny scratches to make the paint look scratch free but the truth is the only way it'll be scratch free is after a good machine over it with something like Meguiars Ultimate Compound

My guess is one of these or similar? Will it need a 5/16 inch UNF male thread??

Can someone confirm?
