Decent price for a no-frills Jigsaw, Argos 'challenge' tools are generally good imo and i have quite a few which have been well tried & tested.

Ok for occasional use but that's it. My dad had one of these and it lasted a year.

Tools are awful. Not rated for continuous use. Cheap but you can easily burn these out with half an hours continously use.

Have one of these. Use it everyday at work. Had it nearly 2 years still works fine. Ignore the brand idiots.

And DIY experts.

Well I'm glad your has lasted 2 years, but I find that hard to believe. This wouldn't last a couple of months if used every day. And no I'm not knocking the deal but you get what you pay for!!

Think that's of an unfair comment regarding brand 'idiots'.
Something like a Bosch is obviously better made and much better quality than a cheap jigsaw such as this.
It might be ok for occasional lights DIY use but that's it.
Let's see how many worktop cut outs it can do before it dies!
Buy cheap but twice.

I've got one - had it 3 years! Use it regularly and it's still going strong! Yes their are better but at a much higher price - if you are on a budget then this is as good as any for regular DIY

As I said I use it every day at work not for DIY.
