I know Challenge may not be a great brand, but for the occasional home DIY'er a 24 volt hammer drill like this has got to be a deal at £24.99, even if you only use it a few times it could pay for itself. With a 12 month warranty too, so if you give it some hammering (no pun intended) in it's first year it'll either prove itself or be covered by the guarantee.

If this breaks after a few months do you take it back to an Argos store or send it back the them online? It's not written in the terms so does anyone know?
Thanks

You don't go back to the store as ebay and stores are two different departments. You phone / email their ebay store and they normally arrange to collect it.
Ta.

So far ive been pleased with the drill Its quite a lot bigger than it … So far ive been pleased with the drill Its quite a lot bigger than it looks in the catalogue and has one large 24v battery so with some weight behind it it will power through masonry, it will fully charge in about an hour and a half by the time its gone flat your ready for a rest anyway, the spirit level is to small and not very clear have to turn your head away from the job to see it , but managed ok without one on previous drillsto me so far its well worth the money "

Here's a 5 star review from an Argos customer

I have a cordless CHALLENGE EXTREME screwdriver - it is really good value and has never let me down in 5 years. I like this brand for VFM.
I cant find it?

all sold - 100.
got mine today and .. it's not brand new as stated? opened and looks old..
Same, box was very tatty and they even delivered it to the wrong address. Useless. I'll be keeping hold of the receipt for WHEN it breaks.

mine came a bit tatty, too but don't think it's used. classic argos end of line stock - shoved about in the warehouse till sold off.
keeping my receipt too.....
I like the sparks mine makes inside when I rev it up.
The battery is almost dead, returning it today.. far away from brand new or unused..
