As good as the more expensive / premium dual action polishers. This little beauty got rid of the swirl marks / holograms on my cars paintwork with ease just using Autoglym Super Resin Polish followed by Meguiars Liquid Wax.

Nice heat

lidl grinder with speed controller for less than £20 would be far superior to this ( the nearest to the professional one). It only needs the polish head of your choice, only another 5-6 pounds

Grinders spin, which can cause paint damage if you don't know what you're doing.
Plus they cause swirl marks
These are random orbital, so kind of do a figure of 8 motion, and spin very slightly. They vibrate your teeth, but are less likely to burn the paint

the trick is to use the lowest speed as possible, obviously a lot of care is needed too.

Quite like the look of this, I have a Ryobi Cordless one that I have not used yet (it is massive)
May just splash out

An angle grinder is far to aggressive for this type of work IMHO - if the friction dries the polishing sponge/mop you can very quickly damage your paint work. Polishers operate am much slower speeds.

Not a bad user review of this item here:
