Good price. Voted hot. If you use good drill bits with this (like Bosch Multi Bluetips), this will last a long time. I have the 710 watt version and it is v. powerful. This one is quite heavy at 5.1 kg....not for weeds like me.

You could be surprised. Challenge brand is surprisingly good for most of things.

I could chew through bricks better than these can drill through..
Went through 2 from machine mart in 4 hours ended up getting a refund and got a proper drill.

In fairness though it is ridiculously cheap.
Definitely aimed at DIYers rather than tradesman though

Have owned older challenge model for years, drilled over 500 holes in rock hard concrete floor in one day, burned out 5 good quality sds drills . Used it for digging out old concrete posts, never failed me.

Just what I needed - thanks Op!

Its an xtreme challenge to get this to last a year.

Really depends on how your using it at £28.99 this is clearly not a professional tool, aimed at DIY'ers. many decent reviews, on Argos web site, the odd poor reviews which is to be expected.

Absolutely agree! Mines still going strong and saved me a fair few quid and hard graft!
