Usually it's when ur existing wipers fail to do a good job of clearing ur windscreen!
I need a 24" and they finish at 22"!
I don't need any cos I just paid £22 for some
Try Asda. I got my Champion blades from there for a fiver not so long ago. Pretty sure they had 24in ones too
Just before you hit something
Thanks NSA, I'll take a look some time tomorrow.
need a couple for my mot due next month
heat added +4
Normally either ends of the blade will start to split, the rubber will become dry and weathered. Use of De-icer throughout the winter will reduce the life of them too.
Are you being serious?
Delivered, a set of 2 will cost you about £12 from Sainsbury's - varies according to model.
From Ebay, that's be £8.50.
No, a lot of cars take curved shaped blades & some Mercedes have different fittings.
Your better off going to your local car spares shop, quite often they will fit them free of charge - unlike Halfords.
my mum got her blades fitted at halfords and she rang me up to say they werent working very well, so i put them on the right way round for her. halfords employ some proper numpties! that is all.
Cant really go wrong for £3 odd though and auto express seem to have a different view giving 4 out of 5. But i know what you mean, Bosch wipers are really good
Later than some people seem to think.
When the blades don't seem as effective as they used to then give the blades a quick wipe up and down with white vinegar a few times. This will usually be enough to restore them to almost-new.
Replace the blades when either this fails to work, or when the blades start to split at the extremes.
Often the cause of smearing is grease on the windscreen rather than being a problem with the blades. If this is the case then add 4 teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda to a mug of tepid water, stir well and use it to sponge the windscreen clean, then rinse the windscreen well with clean water.
Cold.
