Why would a United fan require flights from Manchester?

Post flights from local airports like Heathrow, Gatwick, Beijing and Hong Kong and I am sure the United fans will warm this up a little for ya!

have some cheeky rep for that!

1 night accommodation in a Fiat panda with 3 drunk and smelly mates
2 nights accommodation in an airport in the Sausage capital of the world with a load of Germans sporting dodgy facial hair.
I think I'll pass on that one and watch it in glorious HD, with bottle in hand from the comfort of my arm chair at home.

PS - Enjoy driving round Rome I hear it is quite straight forward!!!

That's some drive, must be 500 miles, when I was living in Brussles we drove to Monaco and that took about 16 hours, that was just over 1,200km mind

Aee there no flights to Northern Italy or even Naples or Bari in the South???

anything into Italy from the UK or Spain are silly prices now , the clever chaps did Liverpool - Florence for £5 return before the semis were played

Yep, sitting at home watching it on HD is really the same as going to see your club in a European final against one of the best clubs in Europe. If you really support your club you let them know it by putting yourself out to get behind them.

Good route spot by the way, though not as good as the one I did from Liverpool to Madrid for the our away leg earlier in the season: Liverpool to Barca £40 flight, Barca to Girona £7 bus then Girona to Madrid £2 flight. Return we got Madrid to Palma £2, Palma to Stansted £2 then train to Liverpool £11. Cost of return transport to Madrid £64, value of celebrating a vital away win for a day at a beach bar in Palma, priceless

Based upon ticket allocation I suspect that's what the majority of genuine Man Utd fans will be faced with doing. Either that or down the local boozer (if its not alreday shut as a consequence of the credit crunch)!! Debatable whether Barca are 'One of the best clubs in Europe' save that argunent for a different thread.
