Not everyone likes the mess and work involved with a charcoal smoker, this is one of the few gas devices on the UK Market. Usually retails around the £240 mark. £60 cheaper than elsewhere today on Amazon and cheaper than I have ever seen it before.

Gas smoker. GAS smoker....

Where's the fun in that. Where is the enjoyment of not burning your foot on a hot coal because you were too much of being in a rush to to put shoes on and change the charcoal . Where's the fun of having to get up at 2am during a night burn..where's the..

oh. I see your point
Not to mention when a hot charcoal ends up on your fake lawn and burns a hole in it and your misses is pissed off with all the gimmicks in the garden.

I prefer charcoal also and bought a Smartfire for mine, so I don't have to get up in the night or have to hover around it in general when cooking on it. But I know plenty of people who are put off by smokers, because of the phaff involved with charcoal ones.

I actually just laughed at my desk at work reading that!
What puzzles me most is how and where is 'infrared' technology used in this grill? Infrared could be sources (LEDs or lasers) or sensors (detecting something) but nowhere in the product description anything about infrared technology was mentioned yet it claims as 'tru-infrared'.

I actually have 2 black patches on my fake lawn, one form a firework(never do fireworks on plastic grass when drunk) and one from a chiminea(never use a wood pallet to protect plastic grass as you may not notice it catch fire/smoldering when your drunk!) oh well my grass looks quite natural with a couple of small mud patches I suppose

I thought I'd learned something new today but just checked and it's faff.
Disappointing.
Dammit I was looking for one of these at a good price, that'll teach me to not set up an alert on my app!!!
