Ebay is an auction and sets market price....

Not exactly capitalism..... but in a shortage could have been an earner for some

I could not give a toss what people do with them when purchased... they can do a Richard Gear with them for all i care.. However £6.51 is a bargain so heat from me

Thanks, my little girls love these. A great find

THIS WAS THEN PROVED WRONG AFTER IT WAS PUBLISHED

GoodGuide admits that it did not use officially-approved methodology for testing the toys.

A spokesman said: “We did not test these toys using the new government standard for toy companies to determine the “soluble” level of contaminants in a toy.

i seem to remember it was one variety of them and the research was subsequently found to be less than robust. might be wrong though.

I also sold some on e-bay before xmas. I listed them for 1p with free postage so not ripping people off.

Not my fault if parents are desperate to keep up with the jonses.

voted hot cheers - been waiting to buy my kids some but wouldn't pay the stupid prices less than£7 sounds ok for a stupid hamster thing!

Thank you. I nearly bought two of these the other day as my boys were both nagging but they looked a bit dull in the packaging so didn't bother. At this price it is worth a gamble.

These are rubbish, better off getting wind up mouse toy from Pets At Home for a couple of quid

Voted hot - great price - thanks for posting, these will be great birthday pressies for forthcoming parties

I think it is the wheels underneath that mean they aren't suitable for under 3s. My 3 year old was given a train for Christmas with similar wheels that he stupidly put on his head and it ravelled his hair into the wheels within seconds and we ended up cutting his hair off to free the train. I notice these come with stickers on saying do not put on your head. Doh! I pointed out to him that he mustn't put the hamster on his head and he remembers the train incident vividly and almost decided he didn't want the hamster...almost.

I noticed the don't put in your hair sticker ont he box was and like 'what?!' - I didn't realise they had wheels underneath, my LO's are too young to be into these hamsters, I bought mine as a present for my niece. You've just answered that question for me !
