Ideal for jazzing up your Xmas dinner table - for a pound how can you go wrong - in gold, red and silver

I appreciate that their website says: 'Essential for festive dining! Charger plates are perfect for parties or as part of your Christmas table setting!' However, I think it's worth double checking the packaging.

I'm not sure if they're the exact same plates, but my colleague recently bought some plates like this from Poundland. On the packaging it said something like 'To be used for decorative purposes only. Not suitable for food consumption'.

err do you know what a charger plate is for ?????

it goes underneath your dinner plate - more for decoration

Add a decorative charger plate to your Christmas dinner table. Also known as a chop plate, service plate or underplate, a charger acts as a Xmas place setting. Just place your normal dinner plates on chargers to make Christmas dinner really classy.

No I didn't know this, so thanks for explaining.

I guess I could be in a minority of one, but I think that this clarification may have helped others.

there are a lot of people out there who hate chargers for some reason

Probably the ones eating Xmas dinner on a tray in front of the telly

welsh pound

This is a great offer so not sure why its so chilly in here. I really need some of these so off to poundland I go, hot! Many thanks :0)

If you bought these charger plates from somewhere like John Lewis they would be 5 times the price. Excellent price if you can get them.

Hot Hot Hot !

If these are the usual ones they have in Poundland they are cheep and nasty. Sorry just my opinion. NOT voted
