Man Utd supporters should visit manutd.com for details

why are the cheaper tickets not available to Man Utd supporters?, had to pay £30 Adult and £25 child for ours from man uted.

The man u fan base is quite big so allot would go to see it, portsmouth is small so thats why netural fans are their to make up numbers, cheaper so they can grab interest.

Possibly because all the Man U fans are all prawn sandwich eating supporters from the home counties?:whistling:

Sill doesn't seem right that supporters and members have to pay over 50% more. Booked my tickets as soon as they were available so they must hold cheaper ones back.

5th row just left of goal, can't go wrong for £20. Cheers OP, wanted to see a game sometime at Wembley. Even better when the weather is good

I went to see the dons in jon paitents thing , cost dad 30 me 15 .

£15 are still available through United, they only have £15 or £30 left now, mate phoned up today and got 4. I got mine via ballot ages ago in the £40 section. They have sell the most expensive first and just lie about the availability of the cheapest one's. To get a ticket from United the number is 01618688000

Two issues at play here. Firstly the ticket prices vary by location, your £30 tickets may be rated as better seats. The cheap ones I looked at this morning were very high up in the corners.

Secondly due to football's reputation they have to enforce segregation. So can't/won't sell these to United fans and therefore to avoid having empty areas have to go with supply and demand rules.

i got ours last week as we members x voted hot man u rule x cor am i the only one to fancy sir alex ? hum ponder ponder

Do these come with a free Happy Meal?

Went to Community Shield last year, great day out. Can't make it this time :-(

From your post I seriously hope English isn't your first language, that was the most garbled piece of twaddle I've read in weeks.

I assume you had your mouth full of prawn sandwiches?????:whistling::p;-)

I like prawn sandwiches. :

Hot!

Shame I can't make it, flights are too expensive now the holidays have started.
Does anyone know if it will be on telly?

Top Reds don't go to Community Shields.

Top post OP - voted hot. I don't support either United or Pompey but desperately wanted to go to Wembley so I've gone for the £15 cheap tickets. Shame about the bloody £3.50 service charge PER TICKET (wtf?) and the extortionate £4.90 delivery - meaning that I've spent £41.90 on 2 tickets rather than £30.

Cheers - looking forward to the game.

Oi, **** off you lot, I certainly don't want any non-Pompey in my end!

lcfcrule;2627939

and the extortionate £4.90 delivery.

That's because Wembley doesn't issue replacement tickets, so the must be sent Special Delivery pre 10am etc to ensure they arrive.

Why does this now say Expired when it isn't?

Why expired?

Edit: Beat me to it!

It's still a joke. I buy tickets over the phone from Leicester City all the time and they do free delivery (and only £1.50 credit card fee) - and I've never had a problem.

Special delivery is useless for me because I'm at work and Ticketmaster don't deliver to anywhere but the billing address, so I'm going to have to go to the Royal Mail Delivery office (20 minutes from my house) to pick up the tickets. And I paid £4.90 for the damned hassle!

if your going by car dont park anywhere near the stadium local council are bstards

Once again , a serious, helpful post has to resort to some low stab at United...jealousy is a bad thing, try and get over it it will eat you up...

BTW There are a lot of United fans in Manchester, simple fact is we are well known all around the world which is the main reason why wherever you go you will see a United fan....

Honestly I really don't care, it was a joke, chill out-football is no more than game played by over paid "slaves" , football was a passion for me at one time (70s & 80s) can't stand the way its turned out now.

when you say "the way its turned out now"

DO YOU MEAN BETTER?

But ask these fans how many games they have ever seen live. In fact, ask them how many times they have been to the UK / Europe. The Man Utd brand is well known worldwide as they have always had the best marketing brains behind the selling of the brand worldwide.

No I mean worse, much worse, played by people who who only care about how much money they can earn, the soul went out of the game years ago. the 1970 &1982 Brazil teams were a a pleasure watch, nothing compares.

has it sold out now? tickets are no longer available

you can still ring and get them on 08448471898

Jebervic
What a load of ****.
Old football was rubbish, so slow and they only kick the **** out of each other.

I have never been to game wondering if there was gonna be SOUL in the game.

That's because many of the rules and equipment (the ball) have changed to make it a faster game.

One of the things I used to like about "old" football was that it was less of a business - players tended to stick to the same club for a large part of their career. Come the end of one season, you knew would would be playing for your team next season. The transfer rumours all summer and waiting to see who is going to be the first to get £200K per week may be exciting for some, but not for me. Things like the Ronaldo going to Madrid saga are ruining the image of football.

Honestly there is no reason why not. The advantage of an all seated location is that you can issue replacements because if two people turn up they argue over the seat and the officials can work out who the real tickets belong to.

I can understand it for forgeries in a standing event but there is no real excuse for a seated one.

Then people get two copies of each ticket, sell them to touts, who sell them on. Leaving loads more people in the ground than there should be that have to be dealt with / thrown out by officials or police. It's easier if they just issue the tickets once.

Then it's easy for the police to prosecute the person requesting the extra copies who also isn't any of the people turning up. You'd have to be stupid to buy them, request duplicates and then sell both sets to anybody!

No such thing as 'neutral ones' you'd have just been in with the Pompey fans.

Anyway, the club have announced that ticket sales are suspended until 10am tomorrow, at which point they go on sale to supports on the club database only.

So this one is officially dead now.
