More of this 'charles wilson' tosh....

There are no lumberjacks in
this part of Lancashire so I
will not vote either way.

I cut down trees, I skip and jump,
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing,
And hang around in bars.

Mounties: He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps,
He likes to press wild flowers.
He puts on women's clothing
And hangs around.... In bars???????

CHORUS

I chop down trees, I wear high heels,
Suspenders and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie
Just like my dear papa.

Lower quality than primark.

Not sure about that...

I bought some Charles Wilson shorts from their eBay store the last time a deal was posted and they're not good quality. The stitching on the buttons was poor so the top two buttons popped off pretty quickly.

Buy cheap pay twice...

You can get similar in primark for £6. Try and buy. Heat added though as it's a deal.

Somebody had better tell Jason Grimshaw quick . . . X)

Bargain. Thanks OP

Thanks for the info.

I think the more years I get under my belt the more I realise cheap clothes are a false economy.

I think next year I'll be buying "big brand" stuff in the sales. It's expensive for a reason.

So these are by charles wilson? Just checking as you only typed charles wilson 299 times.

The brand name isnt always a guarantee of quality, especially as quite a lot of the big name stuff is made in foreign sweat shops. There is plenty of non brand name stuff whcih is just as good as M&S or Next products and a third of the price. What really gives me a laugh is the people who buy an item of clothing with a fairly prominent brand name (usually quite expensive) and think its a really cool. If I was to walk around advertising a companys name on my clothing I would expect to be paid, not pay top wack for it. Brain washing (advertising) starts at an early age in this wonderfull moden world of ours, have a look at some of the advertisments shown when the most popular kids programmes are on. When I was a lad some of the people who had a modicum of intelligence reffered to the Goggle Box as the idiots lantern.

In the very first version it was "dear mama."
Just googled it to make sure I wasn't going mad.

Brands don't matter to me at all, I do have quite a lot of stuff from next which has no branding etc. but I believe the quality is great. I have shirts I wash a few times a week and after 6 months they're still great.

Interested to hear where you consider good quality at a third of the price as that's what I'm looking for but struggle to find.

why does this rubbish keep getting posted, you can buy cheap no-name clothes all year round for these kinds of prices, just chinese made clothes with a no-name label on them

Who's Charles Wilson?

Mrs Wilson's son

These would go well with the kia sportage posted earlier

Who's Charles Wilson?

No body.
A bunch of south asian guys got together and started a clothing business. It's not very marketable to see "muhammad's t-shirts" or "amir's clothing" so they settled for "Charles Wilson"

It's a British sounding name so of course British people would want to buy it.

A popular denim brand springs to mind! Lol

Seems someone doesn't like South Asians running businesses X)
Names mean nothing these days as most companies are owned by multiple holders and rarely the actual founder. A bit like super dry being a pseudo Japanese brand run out of Manchester...

Charles Wilson. Lol. As though it's some kind of designer brand that's being sold cheaply. His name pops up on here every few months and gets heat. These are slightly less embarrassing than the cargo shorts of a few months back though I guess. No better or cheaper than Primark.

COLD

I bought genuine "branded" (and lets face it, its more branded than here) Matalan ones for 40% that price in Matalan's sale. I also suspect the Matalan ones will come from a far better class of sweat shop.

Charles Wilson is, as someone predicted a made up name, with every director of "Fashion Empire Limited" who sell the Charles Wilson brand, having the surname Anwar. Realistically its not that relevant, with the reviews here suggesting other items they bought were poor being far more significant. Also, if I was going to open a pizza/kebab take away, would I call it Charles Wilson's, or Anwar's? Horses for courses.

Hot from me, got some polo shirts from this place, very good quality

Chas Wilson,or Chad Wilson,or maybe even Chuck Wilson .......Sounds more Edgy...... I'm available for marketing if they want me.......

Banned

charles anwar was charlie wilsons couson

I have some of their shorts, naff all wrong with them. Good cut and quality especially for the price.

Poor quality.

Sorry, but Next stuff is of poor quality. I used to buy it for workwear (trousers & shirts) - they dont last, dont wash well & their knitwear fails to keep its shape.

You are talking absolute rubbish. I got a pair of their Shorts recently and they are great quality.

The clothes seem good at first, but quickly the colours fade and the shape falters. Good for the price, poor overall.

What did you do to occupy yourself while others watched the "idiots lantern " as you put it?

I'm guessing you didn't spend too much of your time reading or learning the basics of the English language given there are ten errors in your nine line ramble.
