I think these may have been good originally, when they first started off and before the accountants took over and dictated that the quality of the meat should be reduced to increase profits.

Tried two of these - both contained unidentifiable pieces of 'meat' that should never feature in any decent pie.

Agree. Quality has dropped whilst the prices have jumped up.

I prefer the Aldi specially selected Steak and Ale frozen pies over these.

Aldi specially select the bits of the cow others discard as inedible.

4 quid for a pie. I'd want them to cook it and serve it to me for that price.

Overpriced even with the reduced price

12% off and still way overpriced

i’m sure a butchers pie would be better than these mass produced ones

£4 for 95g of beef and a bit of pastry 😳

I think you’re being too kind. The contents may technically be described as beef, but it includes substances you’d leave on the side of the plate. Or, in the case of a proper home made pie, throw out.

Blimey, you’ll all be saying Pukka pies are good next. Mind you in my youth they used to serve you a pie later 11pm to get around the licensing laws, hate to think what we’re in those ones.
