Im just hoping its a nice wine lol ... The box is nice too So might pick up a few more for birthday gifts

Seen several of these tesco vine gift sets in tesco beckton on Sunday - reduced by 75%. Bought few as their looked very nice. Have tried Graves yesterday - just an ordinary table vine.

What a great deal.......well spotted

Price in France for this wine seems to be €4.50 (£3.74) so £14 is very expensive, £4 is a good price

It's typically £5.50-£6 for this wine... at £4 it's okay, no more than that, and similar to many offers on wine.

It's everyday plonk, it's certainly NOT a fine wine, if you gave this to a " wine connoisseur" he/ she would think you'd lost the plot ( or at the very least your tastebuds! ) ... I can't believe people were daft enough to pay £14 prior to the price drop... simply because it comes in a box?!

don't knock it its a good business to be in
ten pounds for a thin wooden box and a handful of straw
lol

that would be dead cool.

Cold - price trickery and cheap French white is worse than cheap new world white. Sorry.

The better wine critics are not elitist and can and do recommend wines available at supermarkets without deference to price. In blind tests often the price becomes irrelevant. Don't know if that's true in this case but I will note that you state this is "everyday plonk". What credentials do you have as a wine critic?

brilliant deal thanks :-)
if I can find them, my friends are getting these for bitrhdays
