I've just come back with 4 bottles from Morrisons. Usually Asda have them on special offer for around the same price this time of year. I've not noticed them reduced yet though.

my fave wine, off to get some tomorrow

thanks

Nice wine, great price. Not often you see chateauneuf du pape for under a tenner.

Last time i got this for similar price had to buy 6btls so it's nice to be able to just buy a couple, more reasons to shop at Morrisons

Lovely stuff. Though I only ever buy it at this price.

Decent plonk. Great value at 8.99. Heat added!

Picked up a bottle at lunchtime!

Does anyone know if they are still doing the offer buy 6 bottles get 25% off? If so this is even hotter!

Babycham has a far fuller flavour with excellent depth and delightful nose. Dont waste money on the cheap French rubbish that passes for wine!

Very nice find

Perfect drinking stuff. Not my cuppa but please hoover it up as the supermarkets make a fortune on this line and we need to keep the economy going. Cheers!

No finished on Sunday

There's another thread on here that Aldi have it for £9.99

just because it says CNDP doesnt mean its great, the Tescos finest one was very poor.....buy one bottle and if you like it, buy more: otherwise you are wasting your money and headed for BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

Er no, it's a different wine from the same area of France.

Chateauneuf du Pape on the wine label only means grapes are grown in or around the village of Chateauneuf du Pape and winemakers may use up to ( and some do ) 13 different wine varieties for the red wine, so hardly the same. You can get good wines and you can get poor ones.

I find a lot of these to be overpriced tbh. Prefer Chilean/Australian wines at the same price mark, but if you're happy drinking one of these CdP's then that's all that matters.

"Aldi have it for £9.99"

Sounds like you mean the same wine to me.

Sorry you thought it was a lecture, I thought it was more an insight.

The title of the post just says CdP is £8.99 at Morrisons. It doesn't say which winemaker.

Anyone tasted it yet?
