Cheap Amazon Subscribe 'n' Save item, part of your 5 an order thing? St John Ambulance Non Sterile Disposable Razor Blade 18p (+£3.99 non Prime)

Found 10th Jan
Was just looking for something "disposable" to add to the 4 items I've already got on Sub'n'Save, the 5th one pushing the discount to 15% instead of the 5% I was getting.
Was going to get some more plasters, the 40p pack but then saw this
Not really a deal as such as this is the normal price for it, but thought I'd mention it for anyone else looking to order the 5 items.
Not sure as I didn't need to, but assume you could order or subscribe to these twice or three times if it made the 15% worth having on something else?
One of my items is £40, so this 15p item saves me an extra £4

Does the 15% come of one item of all of them ?

All of your items on that qualfying month

Just FYI, it doesn't always happen automatically in my experience. If you have 5 active subscriptions when an order is placed, you will get 15% discount. But, if you don't, then the first 4 orders will be placed at 5% discount and the 5th at 15%. The orders placed before that with the 5% discount will remain at the price you paid (ie 5% discount) if they were all first time orders.

To get around that and receive the discount on all of your current month subscriptions you need to change the delivery day/date. Doing that readjusts the dates and prices of your existing orders.

As an example, if you had no subscriptions and placed 5 separate orders for this razor. 4 orders would cost 17p each, and the 5th order would cost 15p. If you then change the delivery date, all orders will change to 15p each.

Learnt this the hard way, it can make a difference on more expensive items

Can there still be issues with what you actually pay if on your subscription page the 15% discount tab is highlighted on the product picture?

If it ever happens that you have the wrong (insufficient) discount applied then I recommend letting Amazon deliver the goods anyway.
Then, make a brief complaint. In my own experience, they are so apologetic that they generally just give the customer the wrongly-priced item free of charge.
Thanks op. Showing OOS - the power of HUKD
It would be a good idea to have all of the products for this 5 for %15 offer in one thread.
st johns ambulance razor? do they come out and treat you, when you accidentally cut off a body part because they are perhaps blunt, and you put a little bit too much force into using them?
Seeing as it's oos now, just having a trawl around while I wasn't doing owt important to see if there was anything else cheap, and of course "useful"?

theres this(?), 50ml catnip spray which is 80p odd if you need/want any
Polyco matrix grip gloves 80pish

theres several items under a pound in this category, DIY + tools, but they're gloves or bandages type stuff.

there is johnsons baby washes/shampoos/etc at £1.30ish with the 15%, which wasn't particularly cheap(?) but might be more useful than catnip
Im worried by the non sterile bit......

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. The first time you order anything in subscribe and save it's locked in at the price you see on the checkout. To be sure, check your order history for those orders to see the price you're paying. If some are at 5% use the method above to sort it.
