But are they nice?

Hate oven chips. Brilliant price though

Low fat, low price...low taste. You get what you pay for. I guess they'd go well with Crispy Pancakes for some mums who've been watching Jezza all day though.

Your thinking of french fries... hotukdeals.com/dea…261

froid, pour la comédie

But are they halal?

Funniest line ever

Suitable for vegetarians? Chips? I would never have guessed.

Bought these today, taste like chips to me! obviously not as nice as home fries but good for those on a diet, or a healthier alternative for the kids. mine had them and seemed to like them

neurotica

But are they halal?

No. But they are kosher

Are they suitable for coeliacs? I'm surprised at what contains gluten, that could do without it!

I actually prefer this to any other oven chips, cook them on a lower heat for twice as long as recommended and they are lovely.

No gluten/wheat in these so not coated with flour.
McCain ORIGINAL chips on offer at Iceland at moment - they don't contain wheat but other McCain ones do.

Thanks for that ronrim.

Amazing that these are cheaper than a 1 kg of spuds in most shops, and I don't mean amazing in a good way either. However I buy Maris Piper 55p for 2.5kg from Home Bargains, definitely cheapest spuds around.
