not a 'deal' as such as they have been this price for years but most people do not equate waitrose with cheapness so might not know they are the cheapest for (soluble) aspirin

Something cheap at Waitrose? Hot.

2017.....and the lovely things to come.......Ohhhh... we're going to need a lot of these

How many in a pack? One?

As others have said i'm voting hot for finding something reasonably priced in Waitrose. My local store plans to close this september. It's only been open for two years.Just ridiculous pricing.

if you go at the right time in the evening they massively reduce short dated stock (eg 10p for 4 pints of milk) - only found that out as I started going for the free coffee

You've not been in Sainsburys lately. Thier prices are now on par with Waitrose.

They're all increasing prices on the back of a preconception of "Brexit will increase prices" - just another psychological manipulation for their own benefit by the remoaners in control of businesses, Thanks for posting, Op - nice to hear of any bargain - it might encourage companies to price fairly so that they get extra custom.

Some are more aggressive than others. Sainsburys prices went up after Christmas 10%+ across the board. But it's strange that everybody else is still competing with each other, even Waitrose!

When goods/ingredients are imported and the pound is tanking, it's no surprise they have to increase prices. I suspect the pound will get worse as there is so much uncertainty as to what is going to happen to the uk economy.
