Can attest that Geneva is a lovely place. Quite expensive but you get free public transport for the duration of your stay.
If it's HBO fare you are looking for they are almost giving them away from London airports. For £20 return you can go to:

Frankfurt, Prague, Milan, Rome, Malta, Sofia, Barcelona, Bucharest or Faro (various airlines)

BA, the only company I’ve ever flown with that have cancelled on me. Shocking customer service to sort it out and left out of pocket with airport parking and cancelled hotel. Sadly has put me off. I’ll stick with Ryanair.

It's perfect at the end of March and no tourists.
Proposed to my girlfriend in Dubrovnik a couple months ago, it’s a beautiful place, was Greece like weather but would’ve loved it even if it was cold, would highly recommend it to anyone
Not been to any of these places if you had to pick one for a family of 4 including two small kids which would it be

I had exactly the same issue. They advertised cheap flights to Ibiza, booked hotels, transport etc and then BA cancelled 2 months before with no alternatives offered. They do it for publicity!

None children spoil holidays!! 😁
BA are the only airline to have lost my baggage (three times). I wouldn’t fly with BA, nor Ryanair, no matter how cheap.
Some nice prices, thanks for sharing! The prices you shared appear to be from Gatwick rather than Heathrow though.
And all the dates during term time They make up for this with extortionate fares during school holidays!

Can you give more details please? Which airlines and rough dates? Thanks
Extinction rebellion will be all over this, literally!
Does anyone know how much fuel supplement is applied if one wants to fly from LGW (ie LGW to LHR, then to Destination)

Kindest regards

Thanks

It's balanced out in the end, those of us without kids are effectively paying more than our fair share of tax as we take less from the system
I think the title needs updating as the flights seem to be Gatwick not Heathrow so is misleading

It's simples

1) go to google flights
2) enter your home airport in the 'where from' box (leave the 'where to' box empty
3) click on the 'explore destinations' link on the right of the page
4) in the second box down on the left of the screen set the filters for timing and duration of your trip
5) on the price section move the slider to the extreme left (will only show flights under £50)
6) the map on the right of the screen displays all destinations under £50 (many starting at £20)
7) click on your preferred destination and flight details appear on the left of the screen

you may need to zoom in to see all available destinations.

Here's one I made earlier - google.co.uk/fli…f=1

We had a fantastic family holiday in Arcachon. We flew into Bordeaux and took the local train to the coast. Amazing food, beaches, hired bikes etc etc. Stayed in airbnb. Spent time in Bordeaux as well, beautiful city with lots to do.

Assuming you were once a child, you’ve taken the same out of the system as anyone else.
I might just pack in Jacks Flight Club 😜 thank you for sharing
