Sports Direct, voting cold is compulsory I'm afraid.

As an employee, they're cheaper online but, if you buy them in store there is no delivery cost.

Mike Ashley -

Not fussed on Sports Direct, but a deal is a deal hot from me,let the stoning commence

Lidl have got their knock-offs in the shops at the moment. I got a pair about 4 years ago and they're still going strong. £5.99 I think they are for the adult ones.

Birkinstock? Is that SD's own brand? If so, its likely to be rubbish quality - similar to how they ruined Slazenger, Dunlop, Donnay etc and took everything down market.

I never realised sandals were so expensive, who buys them?

For men's

I don't like them. I bought a pair from Amazon (there was a deal on the other day) and they are very uncomfortable.

There seems to be a 'hump' in the middle of each sandle and it's very uncomfortable to walk in. It's like walking on beach pebbles.

Although saying this the straps are very nice and comfortable. I'm still letting them 'bed in' but if you get ones like I got then forget it. A pain to walk in

Of course, but usually the price is MUCH more expensive and they don't have the size you want. This has happened to me on numerous occasions!

Krazyasif786 - be patient with them, Birkenstocks cork sole adjusts to the shape of your foot. They can feel odd at first but then will be the most comfortable thing ever

Stormkitty is right, got a pair a couple of years ago to backpack around Europe in. After a while they became ridiculously comfy but they did feel strange and hurt my feet at first.
