"It's not often I call India" - my backside. Why don't you just be honest ? You have never made a direct call to India and probably never will do. You are not actually interested in this deal at all but could not resist the temptation to have a cheap dig when you saw the word 'India' in the title.

I found a better alternative to Localphone - the Ringo app on IOS and Android. It cost me 0.47p for India and it is free to United States. It uses your minutes on the mobile contract, or indeed the landline and science a local call number to your Indian Contacts just like local phone.
The problem with local phone is when you ring Pakistan it's ringing but on the person your ringing it does not ring
Heat. Going to get some revenge by calling a few random numbers in India and telling them they have a problem with their computer and I am calling from Windows.
If you can get 08 unlimited add on in EE, you can make free calls to international numbers
But how much to ring me mam, who lives a few doors down?
if you people with smart phones back home whatsapp and viber are free.

Not everyone has the option to use What'sapp or Viber in India or any other country due to poor internet speeds or no data on mobiles at all.

got this from EE website...
If you regularly call service numbers, we offer an 084 and 087 add-on that gives you cheaper calls for just 1p per minute. For £3 a month (£2.50 excluding VAT) you’ll get 300 minutes to call numbers that start with 084 and 087. This will give you peace of mind that you will always have an allocated number of minutes per month to call service numbers.
does it mean it will cost 1P per minute?

I see 0.8 ppm using 03 access number. so it is lot more expensive than this deal.
I think Tesco calling app is cheaper gives you same wifi or minutes calling and is 1p / min for mobile and landline

Yes exactly.

Vodafone also do a 300 minutes per month "add on" for £2.50 a month. For more details click HERE and scroll down to "call a lot of 08 numbers".

Virgin mobile give unlimited calls to 08 numbers on contracts starting from only £12 a month on sim only contracts. For more information click HERE

Hope this helps.

If you had come up with a cheap deal for Australia or America, you wouldn't have comments from people including those who never call Australia. do you guys think that this is a site for deals for white people only??
so.. you pay £3 per month to EE + 1P per minute+0.8p to White card! = 1.8 PPM and £3 PM!
not too bad but this deal is better in my opinion.
NOTE: All rates are plus VAT so if you want to topup £10 it will actually charge £12.
Also not the best call quality. Sp.during weekends its just poor connection no matter mobile or landline.
I use it a lot and its cheaper to call UK also since u dont have any contract and when u top up , u can use it even after a year. Landlines is 0.6 p and no mobile or landline is giving it unless we take some contract.

I have used other services from them in the past and had no complaints whatsoever. I used this latest service from them a lot too and it has saved me quite a bit of money. If you have any issues with the service, send them a message and they reply really quick with a solution, 10/10.Heat added by the way :-)

So this is definitely legit? I get free 0870 calls with my Virgin, and it would be great to use. I could not find any review on the Net so I am always a bit suspicious when it comes to free stuff. Thanks

Make a few seconds calls to the 0870 number and check your online bill after an hour or so. You won't be disappointed :).

We, at home are currently using it from our Virgin, EE and Vodafone sims with no problems at all. A few of my friends and family members are also using it from their BT, Virgin, Sky and Post Office landlines and are more than happy with it.

I tried from EE and T-Mobile, it doesn't come out of inclusive mins.

You need to have their 08 calls Add on. If you don't have the add on, then obviously it's not going to come out of your inclusive minutes.

My brother has unlimited calls to 08 numbers from his EE line (old tarrif) and he has not been charged.

ok.. is the "08 calls Add on" the extra £3/mth for 300 mins?. If so it means 1p/min from EE mobiles.

That is correct.
If you have inclusive minutes you don't need any 08 addons. Just add requested number to your contacts on Localphone, you will get local number and then you can call this number and you will be connected strait away. Call quality is good. Don't use WiFi or 3G for calls as quality is rather low.
