mate that's one review not "reviews" besides that's the north American model this is the correct oneAmazon

Need a USB to use for recovery backup, as I can't get it to work on discs, would the be any good or am in for a long wait? And can anyone else suggest any others, I'm looking to back up windows and just leave it for when I need it.

Big and slow
Slowest Lexar I've Ever Owned
Slow as hell
SLOWEST thumbdrive I've ever tested
Slow as can be!

Review(S)

I'm not sure why the same model would be different just because it has different numbers for differing regions.

Best write speed I can find for this is 5Mb/s

Grab the £3 8GB Lexar (green) stick from ebuyer.
I can vouch for the quality and speed. Perfect for reinstalling Windows

I can second that currently using one for windows install

Of all the drives I have ever used the Lexars both USB3 and USB2 are in my experience the best value for money you can get.

Have seen cheerier :o)

It's good price but speed is rubbish

Yeah the speed on this sucks, I have one

Only make of usb stick to fail on me, even with being extremely careful in handling. Lost all my important work. I switched to cloud based storage at that point.

Nooooo another cheap flash drive from Ebuyer - must resist buying my 12th or whatever it might be lol.

I need it to create a backup, like a recovery disc but on USB, I'm sure it's more than 8gb as I need 4 dvds last I tried, but thanks anyways might give it a try

Cheap - yes

Cheerful - god no!
