Coleman Mountain Trek Rucksack - 30 Litre Red/Blue
Coleman gear is well regarded, I think. This seems a good price for an all purpose rucky. There's a bigger one at the same price, too.
Made from 420HD OXFORD nylon and 200D OXFORD Polyester
H2O Hydration system (hydration pouch and tubing not included)
Main compartment with side access, Top and Bottom Compartment, lower house suitable for sleeping bag.
Zipped side pocket & front pocket with zipper, adjustable back system,
Adjustable hip belt with pockets for small items, fixation loops for two ice axes and top and side compression straps.
Forgot to add, delivery cost varies depending on weight, but usually £2.95 to £3.95, or free over £50

Apologies to chrisfloyd82. I didn't repost his deal on purpose, it just didn't show up when I searched. Oh, well. at least I made 15 votes, the rest should be yours!

the 45l is a very good rucksack, I do have it and use it for 2 or 3 night wild camping in snowdonia

Just spent £50 I didn't need to, thanks!

Would you know please what the minimum length (ie of the frame) this would fold/compress to when empty? I was looking for a mid sized back pack which I could put in hand luggage on a plane when flying out then use during a trip.

Hi,

I don't know how you came up with £2.95 - £3.95 for shipping, it is coming up at £5.95 for me?!

Great find.

Sorry, I based it on previous orders with them. It does vary depending on weight of the order, so it's hard to be precise.

Great deal, I have had a Coleman rucksack before and the quality was really good. It lasted five years, which with my usage is pretty impressive.

Some excellent stuff that I wasn't aware that I needed on this site! Good post.

Ah, there's the problem - I saw this as a really good deal, but don't need a rucksack just now. So, I didn't complete a checkout order. I know this was inconsiderate, as I could have gone through with the purchase, so there would be no chance of anyone misunderstanding the possible difference in the estimate of cost. £2 is £2 after all.

rrp is more like 25-30 quid, but it's a total steal for a tenner! 45L one has a lot more sense, but have some heat nonetheless.

length is 24 inches x 13 inches wide, depth of 4in, does have 2 rods to hold frame and can be taken out, so will fold in 2. not tried using without the rods

Exactly , this is a forum for saving money and when the deal is dearer than posted it is disappointing. That said , yes I ordered 1 , but try a little harder next time to be precise . Thanx btw

Another mighty keyboard warrior trying to bully and belittle someone who has made a simple mistake. The OP has been nothing but courteous and polite the entire of this thread and you are far from it. Adding thanx BTW at the end does not justify your attitude.

well said, this is clearly passive-aggressive bullying. IMO people who make others feel small like this should be banned, no questions. we deal with enough cr*p in the real world, no need to get it online as well.

@'dbaillieuk' - how about you try a bit harder to be civil next time before asking anything of anyone.

Also thanks OP, great deal and also for introducing me to this website, which I have never heard of before and looks quite good for deals, both now and in the future.Congrats on the 470+ degrees (and counting) heat also, well deserved for a good deal.

Please ignore malcontents like 'dbaillieuk', you posting of this deal is much appreciated, and continue to do so in the future too

Do you even realise what you have just typed. And all for the sake of a simple error by the OP. Who by the way has posted a deal that you have ordered and in the process saved money. Shame on you.

Get a life outside your bubble . If anyone is a keyboard bully it's you adding comment where it's not needed !

Err, WTF? Try a little harder? Why would he enter his details at the checkout if not ordering? It's because of people like you that I rarely post deals anymore, be thankful for the heads up don't bitch about specifics that obviously didn't matter as you ordered anyway. The OP has helped you, be grateful.

Thanks. Actually after posting I just found out the frame of a rucksack is removable! No more handwashing, into the washer we go...

Does anyone know if the dimensions of these as thinking of using it as hand luggage on a Flybe flight??

You have just contradicted yourself in your own statement. You obviously have issues that you are dragging into this forum and projecting that on others.

Great deal - nuttin but love ;-)

Thanks OP. Just ordered 2. Shame the 45L is old out.

Heat added!
