2968211.jpgI was looking for good&fast VPN with at least 6 simultaneous connections.

I decided to choose NorthVPN and I found (I think) very good deal. You have to go for 3-Years option if you want to save most.

Normal price:
(3Years)
$430.20/£323.91 (£6.36/month)

New offer: -77%
$99.00/£77
(£2.07/month)

+CashBack:
-42% from TopCashBack = making total: £44.66 or £1.24/month.

I hope everything will go smooth with TopCashBack

Note: You have you pay the full amount for the 3 years straight away (about £77) and wait for cash back to come.

***
UPDATE: CashBack confirmed Nice bonus as well. Thanks TCB!

Would you dare go through all the hassle of creating fake accounts just for a 3 day trial? You'd have to make an account every 3 days, essentially you could do this for anything but why bother?

I got this deal the last time it was advertised about 3 months ago or so. I have to say the service is flawless, instructions are clear and intuitive. Server switching is child’s play. I had to contact customer service because I entered an incorrect email, they were very quick and effective. It’s also great to sometimes hop out of the EU so you don’t get the annoying privacy pop ups since GDPR.

I did the same and I agree with the service being flawless. Money well spent
I got a 1-year deal on Black Friday. Everything working fine on all my devices.
Can you watch Netflix on this?

Hi, would you tell us if netflixus works? how fast is your Internet connection via nord? thanks
Anyone know whether this could be installed on a USB stick and then used on any Windows PC you put the USB drive into?

Yes. If wanting to watch American Netflix the service can be slow due to distance but plenty of other countries to choose from.

Yes, US works fine most of the time, and Canada. The few other territories are a bit hit & miss, and France no longer works (if you have a UK account) since Netflix introduced their new thing of showing your home country's catalogue when you're in Europe.

Yes! I'm just checkin US version and there is more movies and programs.

I don't think so, I went through the options and I don't see such a thing. But you can use on any device - you just have to log into your account (Up to 6 devices at the same time).
How does this compare to Windscribe? I was really pleased with them - didn’t seem to be a limit on connections and I didn’t have to sign out each time like with CyberGhost (which I will never recommend). Speeds were good, support was excellent and it had apps for PC (standalone and Chrome extension) and smartphones. It ran out today and I’m looking for something else. The 3 year on Windscribe at SocialStack looks the best to me. When picking a VPN everyone seems to tell you this or that is good/bad/terrible so it’s hard to weed out.

This is definitely better than Windscribe IMO. If you have a router with VPN capability, you can configure your router to be the VPN client so that all (or selected) devices/traffic on your wifi network go through the VPN instead of having to set up the VPN on each device.

Seen that before and other than Five Eyes, it looks fine to me.

I don’t have that. I have a useless Sky Q router which can barely maintain a connection. But as I’m around and about a lot, I don’t mind just configuring a device to use it. With the apps Windscribe is pretty simple in that respect. Otherwise why is Nord better than it?

Ah, forgot about using it out and about. Yes, you'd need the app on the device in that respect.
I was thinking purely for In Home use only.

I've never used Windscribe on a phone before, but I do use it from time to time on my Windows computer. This has a monthly limit.
I guess NordVPN has more servers in more locations (and some of them have double VPN for the privacy conscious individuals - VPN behind another VPN).
Just for you my fellow humans:

Use this mohmal.com/en to get a temp email and then register 3 day free trail at free.nordvpn.com . Do it every 3 days (ideally). No need to buy anything. Thank me later!

There’s a phrase, ‘opportunity cost’, and I, like you, probably value my time more than having to renew my VPN every 3 days

I had Windscribe Pro which was totally unlimited and I used to use it when I was abroad for getting English locality, the odd time I want to download something or if sitting in Costa using that horrible open WiFi, etc. That’s why I need to try and get an unbiased view before I pay for one, might just stick with what I know if there’s nothing seriously bad with it.

Do you do this at all and if so, what router do you use? I’d much prefer to configure at router level but only if I can choose the devices that go through the VPN and not all of them.

I don’t have Netflix but question has been answered in thread. I frequently use speeds 38mps, 50 and 100, oh and whatever my mobile network decides to provide.

I took this out in April and have received my cashback already.
Used Nord for several years. Excellent service. Would renew but I'm okay up to the end of 2019

I use mine all the time, especially when using free WiFi, I get that you either have it or don’t but I always use it given the chance.

Thank you? For saving me 12p every 3 days, at a cost of my time and energy in creating new email addresses, then new accounts every 3 days. For 12p??

12p........

4p a day.....

Really??
By the way, love NordVPN, especially the mobile app on my phone. For some reason the WiFi at work blocks band, which is the messaging app my gaming group use. Turn on NordVPN on my phone and instant access. Love it. And I paid about £60 for 3 years when it was on offer.
Would give zero to their Customer Service who failed to respond to any of my Emails. Once up and running I cant fault it. So much better and safer than Pure VPN. Probably one of the top 3 out there and this deal is a steal.

Yes. I've tried it on Asus using Merlin firmware, but I think it can be done on stock firmware too.

Setting the router up as VPN client using OpenVPN is pretty easy. The VPN website usually has help pages guiding you on how to configure different routers with OpenVPN.

You'll also need to do the following:
1. allocate a specific IP (or static IP) for the devices you want going through the VPN (under LAN settings).
2a. For the devices that you want going through the VPN, add those IPs to the VPN routing policy/table.
2b. You may need to also select 'WAN' (for normal internet connection) or 'VPN' for each IP/device if there's a drop down for Interfaces.

The only issue I read about with setting up VPN on the router is that some services will not operate via a VPN (BBC Iplayer was one mentioned).

Do people here use a VPN 100% of the time or on an 'as and when' basis?

I've set up a UK server on my router that is always on with a killswitch. BBC iPlayer works fine with it.

Can you stack these deals on existing subscriptions? I went with a 1yr deal that was posted just before christmas, love the service and never had an issue (to date!), so happy to continue with them, if I can stack this deal on top of my current sub.
Will this work on Fire TV? Which is better, this or IPVanish??
I'm assuming this deal has ended, because I can only see a 2 year plan for $79.
