Dates? Assuming it’ll be in term time, always cheap then.

Couple good ones from Scottish airports in kids last week of school ,(and we don't get fined!)
But then Accommadation costs rake up
Was £199 last week
Its the worse time of the year to go to florida daily thunderstorms and very humid.
Exchange rate is terrible right now as well.
Id wait and go in October best month of the year to visit in my opinion.
Sanford airport is much better than orlando MCO though, 10kg hand luggage up from 7kg helps as well, if theres 2 of you going can always just buy 1 checked bag.
It’s insulting how much they go up during term time, costs us at least double to go away, about time some sort of cap was put on how much they can increase their prices

Why? It’s supply and demand.

Im sure if supermarkets put their prices to double when people who work Mon-Fri were off work there would be uproar. Would be same thing, supply and demand but it wouldn’t be allowed. Why should teachers have to pay sometimes 3x the same amount as those who get to choose their holiday time.

Of course it would be allowed it just wouldn’t work. No one has to pay it... they choose to. If you are a company and people are willing to pay more why wouldn’t you capitalise on that? It would be poor business if they didn’t.

It’s not possible to cap it. The travel companies will claim they aren’t putting the price up during term time but they are actually reducing the price out of term time to fill seats. If they put a price rise cap in place the only ones that would suffer are the people that go out of term as its these prices that would go up, not the in term prices coming down.
