Cheap Flights to Japan from £254.40 @ Holiday Pirates

Found 3rd Nov 2014
There are some bargain flights for Japan from £254.40 over on Holiday Pirates I've just blogged. There are dates in May and July 2015.

They do leave from Vienna which is a great city to stay for a few days, thought I would share just incase anyone hasn't spotted them.

Disclamer: I do work for Holiday Pirates now too, but I also post regularly on HUKD (not just travel deals). Just thought I'd get that in before anyone says anything ;-) Rachel

Better book a flight to Dortmund then.

Go to Korea or China please.

Vienna to Amsterdam to Fukuoka to Tokyo, am I reading that right?

Sounds exhausting.

No, no, Japan is fine thanks.

Why don't you tell us who the travel agent or airline is? Rather than direct us to your own blog? Holiday Pirates isn't even a real travel agent!

Because the links are on there and I'm not writing it all out again and putting the links on again! The travel agent is Go to Gate and airline KLM.

I searched for the dates pictured a couple of hours ago and couldn't find anything. Just tried again and nothing under £460...

Hot deal but i accidentally clicked cold instead of hot my bad.

Japan is an amazing country. For people that enjoy experiencing different things and new cultures, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hmm, not sure what I'm doing wrong then. I get "You must select origin" if I click on your link, but I've entered the dates in the URL and I get £968.25 with KLM.

How odd. It still shows up for me. gotogate.co.uk/mob…5-L

If that doesn't work, try going onto Skyscanner, searching for Vienna to Japan in the whole month of May and click through from there.

Found some £249.25 flights to tokyo with no overnight stay, but you have to change airports, which might be a bit tight...

for people who want to shout loud and slowly in English and complain how they can't understand anything you're saying, stay in the UK.
Japan is amazing, been Tokyo a few years ago. Heads up though, everything is generally more expensive compared to the UK. Don't go their expecting massive savings of fashion.

Cheers Tazxxx. There are q couple of options as you say. I am so tempted to book this myself! Was that one on Go to Gate too? Can't understand why Tomoo can't get it working.

Edit: Yes that one is on Go to Gate too. Can you see that one Tomoo? Connections aren't too bad you should make those at least 2 hrs.

Just jump off in Fukuoka, get your rail pass (bought before you go) travel up the country on the shinkansen and fly out of Tokyo. Perfect way to see a good chunk of the country. I will even give you a futon in Fukuoka if you are exhausted for the night!!

Price does not include vienna journey

From Vienna ? This isn't a deal. Another **** offer where u have to travel somewhere else at huge expense, just to catch a flight

I saw this as soon as you posted it on the HolidayPirates site. Excellent deal, jumped straight on it and booked some flights for July, really excited. Thanks for finding them, and pointing it out.

I have booked with them before, not on this deal but on a previous long haul trip. No problems, e-ticket came through and was able to find my booking on Delta airline and select seats (who the flight was with). I guess that will be the same here, wait for your ticket then go onto Luffhansa and check your booking with them. Once it shows up on the airline, you shouldn't have any problems. Hope that helps.

Of course, it always helps if you can go direct with the airline, but often the prices are not the same like in this case. I've used Go to Gate, Air Fast Tickets, Budget Air, Crystal Travel all successfully in the past and they all had their fare share of bad reviews. Once you've booked, if in doubt contact the airline direct to check they have your booking.

Jesus H Christ!!! This is not a bargain! you can get return flights to Japan from Heathrow to Narita for £500 (16-28h) with one change and direct for £600 (12h).

With flights to Vienna that add another £120 at least this comes to £360, but you'll be taking 4 flights each way to get to Osaka which will take 2 days in each direction plus travel to Tokyo if required. If you want to take another day off in each direction and and be absolutely destroyed in the process it's a good deal. cold. cold. cold.

I guess it's personal preference. I'd prefer to spend the £240 on the flight from Vienna, use my Avios for a flight from the UK to Vienna (£35 return) and the total cost is still under £300 with availability May/June/July/September. Some of the flights aren't too bad actually, especially the ones I posted to Osaka. Still 19hrs but changes are good and I sleep well on planes. I would love to go to Vienna too so it's a win/win especially if you fancy a city break too. The other £200-£300 that it would cost me to go from the UK I can put towards another flight.

It depends how much of an inconvenience it is to go from Vienna and the time spent flying. It won't suit everyone, but some people have found it useful.

Most other countries you can have a stab at 'translating/interpreting' road & shop signs, menus, etc, etc but not in Japan :-)
