The buses are a bit of a joke.

I actually love the buses. Malta wouldn't be the same without them

Ditto.
Old and green and make a lot of smoke.
They were yellow last time I went

Old and green and make a lot of smoke.

They removed their vintage buses a few years back, and were actually replaced with out leftover bendy busses that kept catching fire. So now they have new **** ones.

Also a bus there killed a few people last week, as it was open top and went into a tree.

They had brand new air conditioned ones last time I went 😃
I’m currently in Malta now and the buses have now been replaced, all the bendy busses are extinct, and are now air conditioned green and white ones. Gone with a totally different contract and company apparently
The smallest book in the world, I'm told, That's the Maltese highway code.

Seriously, no one knows the Maltese Calypso?

I've driven in Malta no problems great compared to driving on the A12!
In Malta at the moment, and like it.., though would not want the 40+C in summer.. not had any rain daytime over the past week.
Bus timetable is for decoration only for some routes.
in general they are pretty frequent, especially around the main town.. and a bus pass makes transport v cheap too
