Out of interest, what is it that makes an office chair a gaming chair?

Sorry how the hell can you tell that from a photo of a chair ? As someone who has been through a few cheap chairs stitching tends to be one of the last things that goes on a chair. Why would the stitching be more of an issue for a adult. The stitching is not load bearing so weight cannot be a factor.
These are great for playing Minesweeper. You actually feel the explosion when you click on a mine.

Then you realise no, actually your cheap swivel chair has just collapsed.

Gaming is just a advertising it is like calling your cheese farmhouse even tho it is made in a factory. It just gives people buying the chair the impression it is better than a stand office chair. For some reason 'gaming' chairs tend to have holes in the back like racing seats in cars. I dont know why because the holes unlike in cars serve no purpose at all.
Decent price, considering a cheap IKEA Torkel sets you back £45.

I agree. I've never had stitching go on a chair the fault I've always encountered is the lifting mechanism that stops keeping you at the top height and sinks to the bottom.

Its the coating on the pleather that comes away that you want to be aware of with these chairs. Just have a look at used 'gaming' chairs on ebay to see what i mean

Agreed. Got two element chairs In White/black from ebuyer which cost bit more than this one but both are peeling quite badly at the front of the seat

Second that, only problem I've had is the chair peeling from the front. Everything else seems to be alright. Stitching is no concern
I bought one of these when they were on sale 6 months ago. Very happy with it, hasn't worn out in the slightest. However, being made of pleather, it absolutely stank for the first couple of months!
What refresh rate are these chairs?
Fake leather = sweaty butt.

Buying a chair I haven't been able to sit in to test = Nope.

The amount of time I spend sat at my computer desk, would I take a punt on a random chair?!?!? Not a chance! If I can't try it first, I ain't buying it. It's akin to buying a car without bothering to test drive it first in my book.

It's cheap, but no heat as the chair could be utter rubbish for all I know ...
Can you get this delivered to your home address?

The original post mentions £4.99 delivery, but there is no option to buy online?

Holes are for ventilation, to prevent sweaty neck beards sliding off the chair.

Nothing stopping you going to JTF and giving it a test drive
Don't forget with jtf you will need to add vat

Oh you might be interested that you have a 14 day return policy on goods bought online. This is covered on the distance sale of goods act. So you can try out the chair and if you dont like it send it back. You may have to pay shipping costs but depends on the site you buy it from.

The other issue is only two shops actually seem to sell chairs that is stables and PC world. On my recent visit the selection was not that great.

Finally fake leather does not give you a sweaty butt. That is your own personal issue you dont blame the chair for the fact you sweat. Surely a material one is worst becaue your sweat would be going into the material
Had one of these and the base broke within a couple of weeks. Market is flooded with these cheap bin fodder.
Cheaper for 2 weeks use than the last one posted though

Plus better FPS
I got mine on a boot sale for a £1. It is not called gaming chair but looks very similar. Seriously can't get the point of that. Unless you have too much money then why not...
Not a good chair. Brought one myself and found it does not support the back at all. Feels like you are always in the reclining position
Can’t wait to load up Red Dead Redemption 2 on this. Can anyone confirm if this is the version 1.0 or 1.2 as I want all the HDR features. Thanks.:)
Personally, I wouldn't trust any decent chair that's priced at less than £50, especially if you're planning on spending decent gaming sessions in it! Fork out, it'll save your back and prevent numb bum!

Higher price.

These deals pop up on here all the time. Cheap chairs at RRP, styled as "gaming chairs". No one ever buys them, but they always get lots of heat for some bizarre reason.
Collection only......out of stock on line.

Strange isn't it, i bought both my lads an office chair each for when they are on their ps4's and mad as it sounds, they work
I'm voting hot as looks decent enough for the price, but (and it's a big but!!) chair is not very adjustable, no comfy reclining and nowhere to store my can of fizzy...other than that looks ideal.
Bought this as an extra present for my son for Christmas last year. There's a plate connecting the stand and the seat, the weld has sheared way from the plate. It lasted 8 months, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

This looks very similar (identical aside from colour) to the ones Argos were selling a little while ago.

If it is that one, them beware. It's small and has nothing in the way of adjustments (other than the normal rise). The real issue however is the build quality. The screw holes were on the absolute limits of tollerence and sticking was pretty bad.

Maybe alright if a younger kids wants to look the part, but that's about it.
I just travelled from Coventry to Tamworth to buy 2 of these chairs as it said on website that they had them in stock at that store..what a waste of time and fuel. There systems are useless they sent 3 blokes to try and find them...I left empty handed and fed up. Don't use this shop
Needs more RGB
Buy cheap buy twice, these chairs dont last they become wobbly especially with kids messing about on them and the foam will become flat. I recently decided to buy a boulies master series after watching reviews for £200 and the difference in comfort is amazing, better posture a 4 class hydraulic lift. Worth paying the extra plus 2 year warranty. Bit off topic but i know how hard it is to find a decent chair without trying them first.
Looks and sounds like a real POS
