No O/S, that's only a problem for Windows users.

Graphics will be poor.

Power supply unit if it is stock supplied with the case by the case manufacturers / distributors may sound like a hairdryer.

For the money, a lot better can be had.

Hmm, Radeon 6670 Video card. That's not exactly what I would call a gaming video card nowadays.

I've worked out the cost of individual components, if you were to build it yourself
1TB 3.5" hard drive - £43
Gigabyte F2A55M motherboard - £47.50
AMD Athlon 750k - £56
8GB Dual channel memory - £62
DVDRW - £12
AMD 6670 GPU - £50

TOTAL = £270, which means you are paying £42 for the case, unnamed power supply, 2 free games, build, delivery and a 1 year warranty.
System does not come with an operating system - if you already have a copy then great, if not and you don't want to crack it, this will cost an extra £70.

Not bad.

Your gonna need a better GPU to play anything half decent and any new releases.

It is not bad a bad deal for a very low end gaming machine if your on a budget. The main problem is a lack of windows if you can get a copy of windows cheap like the student version. Otherwise that's another 80-100 pounds which makes this deal around about 400. In that case your might be better of look at one of the bundle deals which includes windows.

The graphics card is okay bit below would I would consider for entry level gaming it will do a job just don't expect to run BF4 in high graphics. It will play the new releases most games scale down well if you adjust the settings to suit it.

buy cheap, buy twice. Also, NEVER buy a rig made by a company without knowing if they have used a quality power supply.

Can it handle Solitaire?

That requires overclocking.

We sell this case at work and it's terrible beyond belief. We see many of the power supplies back as they cannot handle the load of a decent graphics card.

For the other parts you get the price is not too bad, I just don't think it's a very good base for a PC to upgrade from.

I’ve had a few pre-built systems bought from ebay that used this case, this was back in 2009/10 when Pailcomp listed systems on Auctions that went for virtually peanuts.

The case isn’t that bad but the power supplies that come bundled with the case are. Feather light, virtually bare circuit boards and a small 80mm fan running at 100% constantly. Cheaply replaceable though, you can have a Seasonic built 450w XFX power supply for around £35.

I swapped out a power supply from one of these cases bought with a PSU already in only yesterday and I was amazed how rubbish it was compared to what I was replacing it with, a Corsair. Before hand I just thought it was noisy but handling it, I see it is barely above junk level compared to anything of quality. In its defence, it was not faulty, and had been on roughly 1500 hours - I only took it out because of the noise.

We had great service and prices from them but you need to get the best graphics card you can afford. This will push the price over £400. The os can be bought from ebay for £40.

If serious about gaming then building is cheaper and you can pick quality parts. I recommend heading over to Tomshardware.co.uk and joining the forum. They will be able to give you loads of good advice.

Second that, building is great fun and you can pick up decent components at good prices new or I used to buy second hand but barely used stuff on aviforums from serious gamers who were constantly upgrading to the latest. Nothing like knowing your system inside out...

cheers mate I'll try that. I need mid level gaming PC with £350 budget. thanks again.

I have a friend who got one of these and was bragging that hed bought a gaming pc at much less than what mine cost me.

He got me to load in windows 7 for him and whinged how long it was taking to do updates.

He opened his brand new battlefield 4 and finally got to play.

He moaned about lag, about graphics, in fact he moaned about everything.

I got fed up and brought him over to mine. Hooked him up to my sons pc and I loaded my version on mine.

He kept asking how come I had got a better game. His disc must be flawed etc.

Not very tech savvy my mate but Ive never seen a joiner better than him.

The bairn couldnt stop laughing. He then explained to my mate that what he had actually got was a pc. Not even a very good one. My mate kept saying "but its a gaming computer", the bairn said it would struggle with monopoly ha ha.

I think thats harsh.

So my mate said well what do we have to get to turn it into a good gaming computer.

So I told him.

Start with a good GPU.
Once you got that you have to get power to it so need another psu, one with pci e cables.

Next get a fast psu. A decent motherboard and a good heatsink. Faster ram would be good too.

If you can put up with the fans keep them else replace them for quiet ones.

Well at least I keep the case he said.
Well yeah but its not exactly great for cooling and its not exactly soundproof either I said.

Hard drive is good? yep..
I smiled, he frowned.

What? he said, We use SSD's I laughed.

Well at least I keep the dvd player he laughed.

Yep, its cool.....

As I walked towards the kitchen to grab us another beer I heard my son say "dad doesnt use dvd drives, no one does anymore".

I was in hysterics by then.

What black listed words could I have possibly used in my post mods?

You wont get mid level for £350
