Not a good laptop - but cheap, and has a one year warranty.

This looks like it will be fine for internet and wordprocessing.

You might want to add a wireless dongle and upgrade the RAM.

2% Quidco available too.

Delivery is £11.75 but Morgan have a store in London.

when you can get a HP for new for ]£279.99 delivered, which includes wifi ad shipping, it just doesnt seem like such a good deal

might want to upgrade the ram...it only has 256meg...need to upgrade the ram even for xp 512 was the minimum recommended....it is cheap, but thats because it needs to be...sorry, can't vote this hot.

bad deal as dell were selling a decent vostro 1000 new for £233 a month or two ago, but it will run xp fine. agent_silver, if you look at the xp requirements you will find that xp requires a minimum of 128MB, and I was running my P4 computer with 128MB ram fine for 3 years!

blimey, I have never seen any magazine quote a minimum of less than 512mb for xp, that must be microsoft quoting 128mb, can you imagine?? that must be xp without anyother programme installed at all, no antivirus, firewall or anything.

yes microsoft says it will run on 128mb ram and it does, i have even heard of people running it on 64mb ram, think you get limited functions probably desktop looks basic and not colourful etc... but with 128mb, i run xp, zonealarm, avg antivirus, firefox and word all open at the same time!
