That will be an issue for people where voda's coverage is rubbish - people like me for example.I know this is your first deal, but please refrain from making sweeping statements that have no facts to back them up.One major thing to note, there is no direct phone number for customer services - you're totally reliant on fb, twitter or their web chat, so good luck with that!

Harsh comments this is a deal site and new members should be commended not shot down. Seems you do this to most posts
I've used their web chat customer service on several occasions and found them to be excellent, always had my query answered or problem solved quickly and efficiently. No having to repeat myself or asking the advisor to repeat what they said umpteen times cos I couldn't understand what they were saying. Cannot fault them.

No WiFi Calling so if that is important to you you may want to reconsider.

I find their customer service agents excellent. What I don’t find excellent is the fact that you have to wait several hours to connect
No age restrictions?

That depends on the time of day, I’ve contacted them at 6pm and had to wait 1 hour and I’ve contacted them various times around 10am with usually a few minutes wait.

I’ve contacted them many times recently. Once at around 12pm, 3pm and about 8pm. All times I have had to wait at least an hour. Seems like they are getting busier And have not scaled the numbers of customer service agents with it.

I switched to VOXI because I liked their policies but that would put a lot of people off them...

Vodafone doesn't allow wifi calling without buying the phone from them anyway.

I have Vodafone with WiFi calling on my SIM free phone from Argos.

I guess you just need to call the customer service and ask for it.

That's what I heard from someone who contacted me through another thread who had issues with the online chat with Voxi. I wasn't aware that they didn't have a phone based cs department, so I thought I'd mention that, but get vilified for it! Par for the course on this site. I'm so glad you can block the comments and notifications for specific members and hey, if people don't appreciate my comments, they are more than happy to mute my comments!

Oh dear! How is me pointing out that Vodafone's coverage is variable, and can be an issue for people based on their location, a sweeping statement? That's a fact. And this is a rhetorical question!

Voxi is pretty decent, My kids are all on Voxi. They haven't moaned about running out of data in a long time. Vodafone has the best coverage in my area. They've been good when I've needed to contact them via online chat etc.. Most youngsters prefer online chat than speaking to someone anyway. You could phone Vodafone if you really needed too and they're usually pretty helpful etc.. Voxi/Vodafone are good abroad too, Can use your allowance in Turkey too etc..
Been using voxi for a month now. Live in southampton area. Use it to ztream radio in car. Travelled in sussex wiltshire dorset and Hampshire. Never seems to drop off. So i would recomend.
I am on Voxi and one big think is missing, the call waiting option. If I am in a call and somebody call me i cannot see who is calling, I am just receiving a text after that i have a misscall. Tried to ask them and they told me that this option is not available on VOXI

Stop being so over sensitive. There is nothing wrong with pointing out when somebody posts something inaccurate. It was said in a nice way, not a personal attack.

So we should rely on what is possibly one person or a very small admin team to correct every sweeping generalisation made on the site? You have your head in the clouds! There is nothing wrong with correcting people as long as it's done tactfully (and sometimes it's even ok to be plain rude to them but this is not one of them).

Just because an admin approved the deal, doesn’t mean that they necessarily approved of every statement or that others can’t disagree.

Does anyone know if I can transfer my number from Vodafone to voxi? I can't find the answer on the website. In the past I've been burnt by trying to move from a supplier to it's own subsidy, like this. I had to give up my number of 10 years because they wouldn't allow me to port my number.

EDIT: I found the link to their Twitter account and got an instant response. VOXI can port the number over without changing the SIM card or requiring a PAC from Vodafone.

Sorry but I think the tone was overly harsh. It's not the end of the world but it should have been done in a more welcoming manner.

If you go on their website and request a sim there is a link that asks if you are on Vodafone. Follow this and enter your number. After this I was told to get on live chat where someone sorted it for me with no issues. This was less than a week ago.
