Found 22nd Jun 2011
Just a deal based on crowdity/ocado offer currently.

They sell stamps, so ideal if you are in need and buy bulk of £40 worth for £20

same for loo-roll, beans or hairspray

ooooh or beer

But email is free?

as well as you can get £40 worth of vodka for £20 and so on ...

Cold

I think the point is that stamps are always face value (apart from Superdrug 5% off deals)

I disagree this is great offer.Discounts are usually excluded for sales of postage stamps. And of course unlike other goods these hold value(in fact the way 1st and 2nd class goes up) their value may well go up faster than inflation.

This is a hot deal ,if you can see beyond your nose

Thanks. People still use post for ebay etc. Stamps are expensive enough and for those that don't buy alchol thought it might be useful, especially as I didn't know online retailers sold stamps.

Try emailing a box of chocolates

In fact a postage stamp is legal tender.
A bus driver would have to accept that as currency.

Better yet, try eating a box of chocolates that was emailed to you.

The point is that this is just duplication of Crowdity deal. You can keep posting this for any product sold by Ocado and people have enough of these as it only makes mess on the website

Bit of a grey area there. I dont think they are technically legal tender, however you might find some places will accept them in considered payment of goods. I dont believe they are obliged to take payment, in the same way that you would expect with cash. Worth a try though.

Brilliant! thanks OP!

Don’t you have to spend £80 to get £20 off your first order?
