Cheaper Cineworld Unlimited card (equivalent to less than £12 pcm) and cheap dining through Gourmet Society

Gourmet Society have added cheap cinema tickets as a partner offer on their website and one of these offers are Cineworld Unlimited card annual membership for £136 (non-west end) or £163 (with west end). This is equivalent to less than £12 or £13.59 pcm respectively.

The process is two stage:

1. Get a Gourmet Society 2 month trial card from here:

bestsundayroast.co.uk/gou…fer

2. Activate and log into your account, where you should see "get cinema tickets" in the "members home" page.
From there, you can order the Unlimited card (see uploaded image) or other discounts on cinema tickets or food. They quote 25% off at cinemas so you can use it for other cinema related goods.

3. Get Unlimited card and goto the cinema

I haven't used this myself as I've already got a Unlimited card. And you can use the Gourmet Society card for dining out at thousands of restaurants around the UK. If you get the 2 month trial and don't want to carry on after the trial period, don't forget that they auto-renew after the trial period unless you send it back to them to cancel the membership.

nice spot OP, scottish heat added.

One query for the community please, anyone know if the unlimited card can be used in conjunction with Orange Wednesday's? I think not but thought worth a shout.

Yes, you can combine Orange Wednesdays and Unlimited. I've done it in the past.

Seems like a good deal, but one thing I would check is whether the Cineworld Unlimited card is cancelled automatically when you cancel the Gourmet Society membership.

The reason I say that is because I used to get an Unlimited card discounted through my health insurance on a deal which sounds very similar to this one. However, if I left the health insurance scheme my Cineworld membership would also end, even though I'd paid up front for the year.

Hopefully this won't be the same, but it's well worth checking the Ts & Cs to confirm before parting with the cash.

If you can join the CSSC you can get one even cheaper, it's a civil service thing

Is there a cost to join?

How much does the cineworld card cost through them?

CSSC does not do CIneworld Unlimited anymore..

unless you go cinema every week don't see a point in this card.
no popcorn as well

I beg to differ, I can still order one from the CSSC website for £116.

Dai70 - Its about £3.60 a month, its for civil servants but is a pretty broad definition and they take it out your pay. So if you know a teacher, nurse, etc. It can work out much cheaper

3 months free Gourmet Society membership here

I tried looking around to find out whether "That_Bloke"s was right about the affect cancelling can have. I couldn't find out whether cancelling the gourmet subscription would cancel the Cineworld card subscription. Would be greatly appreciated if someone can find this out. I would be tempted to use this deal.

Ive just subscribed to the site and the unlimited offer is not available boo hoo

You are completely wrong. I am a CSSC member and the only offer Cineworld provide is "save 10% at Cineworld via the Cineworld Gift Card." No unlimited card offer for the past few months.

Not available any more
