The cheapest 25” 144hz monitor I’ve seen so far. And the cheapest I’ve ever seen this monitor before.

Seems like a good price. The colours are fantastic on the VA panels i have owned (c27fg70 and hg70). No idea what this TN version is like.

No matter what, IPS will always be the best for colours
Good deal if you absolutely must have a 144hz panel. Personally, I prefer the immersion of a bigger screen and aren't that sensitive to refresh rate as long as it's at least 60hz. For pure VFM I think the AOC Q3279VWF as here hotukdeals.com/dea…029 for the same price is way better with a massive 32" screen, but admittedly doesn't have 144hz, though does have Freesync, which is more useful for gaming IMHO, provided you have an AMD card of course...

Yeah I know I’m just hoping that I can cope with it. My ips monitor was only 60hz so wasn’t best for gaming and I ain’t about to drop £300+ on a 144hz ips monitor

I’ve currently got a GTX 960 which yes I know it pretty bad. But I’m about to buy a 1070 so need the 144hz to get the full benefit out of it.

amazon.co.uk/LG-…94W

I’ve currently already got a 29” 21:9 monitor but it’s only 60hz which isn’t really good for gaming.
I sent amazon a "found cheaper price" form and now they're price matching! Heat added.

I found it on amazon also for £199 but it’s not available for 1-2 months. Sigh

Well, NVidia support it for laptops they just haven't turned it on for their desktop cards yet. It's part of the DisplayPort spec, so it should end up supported by everything.

Same here, i just ordered the AOC (arriving tomorrow) and i am pretty much replacing 2 20" screens for the 1 x 32" AOC screen.

The AOC is better in my opinion because its the same price, larger screen, 1440p and has Freesync. My AMD card on 'High' settings gives me 120fps at the moment, if i decide to go 4K res or Epic settings then i will probably only get around 80-90 fps anyways so thats just right for a 75hz screen to get in sync with.

Nvidias history suggests otherwise. Laptops are already locked in to the existing graphics card and display. Providing support on the desktop will allow users to upgrade their graphics card to AMD - totally unacceptable. You will buy a gsync monitor and remain an Nvidia user for life!

Nvidia could support it but want you to buy Gsync monitors which cost £100-200 more. Nvidia are not nice to their customers.

60Hz is fine for gaming imo. You don't need 120+ unless you're into something competitive like Counter Strike. Of course if you can afford a high refresh IPS panel then go for it. Personally I would rather save the money and get a 60Hz IPS if I didn't play CS.

My friend has a 144hz monitor and I can totally tell the difference. So much so that I found it really hard using my 60hz monitor after. Just the overall smoothness for games makes the user experience that much better.

Hi,

How did you get on with the Samsung monitor? Looking at getting one myself. Can you give it a little review?
