Cheapest deal in long while! Google & Alexa Voice activation works! Xiaomi robot vacuum original version £209.54 from Gearbest using code

Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner original version at gearbest from China warehouse using code XIAOMIVAC delivered for £209.54.

DO NOT CHOOSE COURIER OR TRACKING UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY CUSTOMS! Mine was posted from Italy and hence didn't get charged customs. CHOOSE THE FREE DELIVERY OPTION WITHOUT TRACKING AND PAY VIA PAYPAL AND NOT CREDIT CARD TO AVOID ISSUES GETTING REFUND IF PROBLEM WITH DELIVERY.

Takes about 1-2 months for delivery but worth it. Mine came in about 35 days. Was very well packaged and very pleased with purchase. Bought several more now.

Hong Kong warehouse was about £9 cheaper but sold out now.

These are awesome. Reprogramming app and vacuum to English took few minutes after watching YouTube video.

Plus points: Probably the best robot vacuum on the market except for version 2 which costs £200 more and only little bit better than this. Navigation and battery life is awesome.

Cons: doesn't work well on black carpet just like Roomba. Didn't work well on very thick carpet. Buy version 2 if you have very thick carpet. Mine is moderately thick carpet and hard floor and works great on both. Does entire floor and still has 50% charge left. Bought several of these, one for each floor. Version 2 can climb 0.5cm higher obstacles than version 1, slightly higher suction but this is more than adequate as better than all others on market. Manual is in Chinese but you don't need it! App is awesome after setting it to English in app and also downloading English voice pack for vacuum via app. Haven't bothered with manual.

Set the location to China in app to be able to find vacuum in app without issues. Don't forget to update firmware of vacuum via app.

Enjoy. This deal won't last long. Cheapest it's been since a while.

See my comments and video links below if that will help you make up your mind if this suits your requirements. Cheers.

How is this compared to Eufy robovac 11?
Much as I like gearbest for small inexpensive novelty items, there is no way I could advocate spending over £200 on something from them!
'Set the location to China in app to be able to find vacuum in app without issues'..

and let some Chineese teenagers with a laptop in China clean your house multiple times a day....;)
I bought one of these just before Christmas and it is absolutely brilliant, I would wholeheartedly recommend.
Agree, I have one also and it is the best robotic vacuum you can get for this kind of money. It even competes with the roomba 980 which is around £800.I also purchased this from gearbest without any issues.
Very tempted...
I'm still waiting on my order from November.....
Purchased last time round at 220, took a while to arrive but the wait was worth it, these are brilliant. Why are people voting cold? great price
So far I have had no problems with Gearbest purchases. Admittedly it takes a few weeks to arrive (usually 4 weeks) if you choose the free delivery option, but that is a known factor. Want it sooner, pay whatever extra is needed for however desperate you are for it!!

My maximum value spend has been £350 for a Xiaomi Air 12.

Having said that, I would only go for established brands when spending high amounts.

I'm still waiting on my order from November.....

Contact them via website chat feature or raise a ticket on your order. Think they take 1-2 months for free delivery without tracking.

I ordered my first one after watching hukd deal, on November 26th I think. Mine came on the 29 Dec I think. Only used it few days ago and it's bloody brilliant and ordered 2 more for each floor of the house. On ground floor, it cleaned a cleanable area of about 45 metres (as forgot to leave toilet door open) in about 59 minutes and had 50% battery left on balanced mode cleaning.

Today put it on max power mode. Can set schedule to clean while ground floor twice a day, every day, 365 days a year. Or just once a day so that can clean bin after work once a day. My share of cleaning house done by pressing button on my phone app! Wife can do dusting as her share

I do the mopping house as my share by filling irobot braava 390T and switching it on android also the irobot braava jet 240 on another floor bathroom as my share of house cleaning

My wife was pissed initially that my share was pressing the button on robot but I think she likes it now that it cleans house twice a day, every day, 365 days a year. And one Xiaomi robot vacuum for each of the 3 floors of the house, all remotely controlled via my phone app

For the doubters whether it is worth it for the money and whether to buy irobot 980 or Samsung or neato or the robot mops, you can watch my periodically updated robot vacuum YouTube playlist and make up your own minds if these gadgets are worth it for your requirements. See my YouTube robot vacuum playlist here youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGQqgL4AHFjIB5q_IpgztC0xfpgs_4iFZ
hope the videos in the play list help you make up your minds and compare it to many market leaders and make up your own minds if this is worth it for your situation.

For my requirements, these are absolutely worth every penny! Next mission getting window cleaning robots for the patio large glass panes!

Can't understand the cold votes as it's the cheapest deal in recent times for this vacuum. Hope this deal benefits atleast one interested buyer save some money. I myself saved about £25 each for my last two purchases of this vacuum compared to my first purchase of this. Total bought three of these now. My brother is thinking of buying these even though he already has the irobot ROOMBA 650 for about 3y now after seeing my videos sent to him on WhatsApp. Have a nice day.

I can't understand either why it was hot on higher price but cold on lowest price in ages. The mystery of voting on hukd as usual!

I spent about £800 just little other a month at this website. Time delay but great costumer service. Previously cancelled two separate orders of this same vacuum at higher price and they cancelled without any issues and refunded fully to me same day within minutes of my request via website chat feature. But now ordered two more again as it's bloody brilliant at cleaning my thickish carpets and hard floors. It's pretty quiet even at max power setting and haven't bothered with quiet settings yet. I can't even hear it on other floors at max power setting. Every married chap I am told had the advantage of being selectively deaf at will I am told by the wife!

It cleaned on max power a cleaning area of 47m2 in about 66 minutes and still had 48% charge remaining when it went back to docking station

I've raised a ticket a few weeks back and they said it was seasonal delays . I'll try again. I paid extra for insurance but nothing as yet.

I didn't bother paying extra for insurance or anything. Just chose Cheapest free option. Don't know if by buying insurance it will be tracked and get charged customs. Mine was sent from Italy and wasn't charged customs. I was worried as well and contacted them near Christmas and they said within usual delivery times and it did come few days later. Customer service we great cancelling and refunding immediately my 2 previous orders that I called for same vacuum.

The wait will be worth it when you use it the first time. Just takes few minutes to change language to English in app and download English voice pack for vacuum and do software update. Download the mihome app from Google playstore or Apple playstore which ever may apply to your situation and create mi account and you will be all set. See videos in play list linked above and videos will solve all queries, watch the video by the Malaysian chap Lobo for setting the app and vacuum to English and just takes under a few seconds to do that and few more minutes to link to your wifi network and update software of vacuum to latest firmware via app. Best purchase I made in long while!

Website did flash message saying snow storm delays for deliveries while I was buying two more of these over last few days.

I ordered one almost two months ago now and I’ve not received it. It’s just not reasonable to wait so long for an item like this given its cost.

In the future I’d pay more to get it sooner elsewhere hence cold from me.

Same. Ordered on 18th Nov and still nothing. the annoying thing is that I was prepared to pay extra for faster delivery, but the estimate was longer for the paid options, so didn't bother.

When I ordered it said 15 to 21 working days, when I contacted support they said at 30 working days but prob longer. I don't mind waiting, just dont like inaccurate info and then not being sure whether there is a problem with the delivery!

In the same situation. I ordered one 12th Nov, "shipped out" 20th Nov and no update since then! Gearbest last week sent me a msg saying that my "delivery deadline" expires on January 20 and only after then, they will "offer me" a solution?. Its ridiculous. First and last time with Gearbest.

look at the videos on youtube. Xiaomi is far much effective in navigation, eufy basicaly bounces around in hope to cover the whole area
I got mine before Christmas and it is fantastic. Really fascinating how it works it way around and it does pick up a lot.

I think ordering from gearbest expect 2 month time for delivery. Anything early is bonus! Faster with tracking and courier but costs extra plus will get charged customs duty. Unlike preferring without tracking and free delivery which takes longer but likely without customs duty. Take your pick what suits you. I ordered everything without tracking and free delivery.

how durable are they? expensive to repair and where? if there was wet spill, is the vacuum okay to deal with and without damage?
I ordered the 2nd generation from Aliexpress for £330 and £20 cashback.
Slightly better suction, better on carpets and can mop hard floors.
Just a heads up, they have a flash sale on the EU warehouse stock now too at £233.33 but if you slap in the code XMVCKD it brings it down to £218.27. Shipping brings it up to close to £225.

I was tempted but was put off the the long wait time and issues others have had. Also didn't want to risk customs charges.

Happy to bite at £225 delivered within the week-ish from Europe though.

Hope this helps others that had similar apprehension.

Check out the version 2 with mop feature of that suits your needs. But costlier and only minor improvements in my opinion. Version 1 suits my needs as I bought 3 of them. One for each floor.
Motor is same as irobot, similar or same parts as used by major manufacturers.

Agree the suction is marginally better. But HEPA filter is lower spec due to being washable in second generation. Anyone with dust allergy might prefer first. Absolutely no stuffy nose for me with first generation after use but always had stuffy nose with my old Dyson. Mine is pretty large 5 bedroom house and works for the ground floor extremely well, 3 different types of carpets including raised and one with 0.5cm grooves on it and vinyl floor and it did great on it. Don't think anything could have cleaned much better for a robot vacuum (and I own a shark vacuum which is miles better than the two dyson vacuums I own).

The mop on version 2 is pretty basic. I instead opted for version 1 and separate irobot braava 390T and Irobot braava jet 240 for the larger and smaller areas with hard floor. Those mops actually scrubbing action rather than just drag a wet mop around like the version 2. For my requirements or was the better option. Just few days ago, Amazon warehouse braava jet 240 was available for about £149, I paid more for mine. I recommend the irobot braava 390T after using it couple of months now. Bought the braava jet 240 but haven't got around to use it yet which is for smaller areas.
