What you’ve been expected?? They can’t even provide their normal duty right...
Thanks for posting
Funnily enough I've just cancelled with them today. First my go live date was 24th December, it was then changed to 8th January without informing me. I waited all day long yesterday but did not go live. I then called them this morning and they stated I will now have to wait till next week! I rather pay extra and get better service, the Post Office were ridiculous. I would definitely steer clear, they really messed me about. I just hope I dont end up with a bill now for something I didn't even use.
Awful company and your 14 day cooling off starts on the day of order.... They will then connect you on day 15...by then its too late and you are stuck

Exactly like Plusnet! I think plusnet employees have shares in the company because every time you call them to tell them you haven’t got internet they more or less scold you!!! Needless to say I’m in the market for a new provider but think I’ll pass on this deal given the commentS
Don’t do it ! Very bad they put price up 3 times in my contract it nearly doubled in price

Is Now tv any good, they have a good 12m bb fibre offer with cashback?

I needed Internet for about 3 months whilst Virgin screwed us around and they were the only ones offering a 1 month contract. Had no problems with them whatsoever whilst I was with them.

I got NOW for us and then for my daughter....the basic £18 p.m. one with £85 Quidco cashback. Free calls and landline included. Been with them a year now...no issues, quite happy!
Due to renew soon....hope it doesn't go up!

How good is the wifi?
EE, Fibre 36Mbps, £23/month plus £110 cashback = £16.88 per month.

And you will have cash back (which can be increased if you exchange if later for some gift card).

I have EE Fibre right now, 0 issues for 13 months for now.

I know talk talk isnt for everyone and agree there Customer service can be annoying but I've been with them for 15 years ( previous were aol )... very few problems, for me reliable fast internet... only a handful of issues over 15 years which were resolved quickly, there Customer service agents are a little challenging you just have to know this and adapt how you speak.... as I say not for everyone, but for me perfect.. I get about 60+ mb download and 20 upload approx.. and that's for £14.99 for first 3 months ( just recontracted) followed by 15 months at £18.99 includes line rental.. and guarantee price wont go up.. couldn't beat that.. I dont know why talk talk is so hated on here but I guess everyone has their opinions.
Sky unlimited fibre broadband is now £21/month on 18 months contract. That was £27 before Xmas so may be worth looking into it if you already have sky ‘normal’ broadband.

I feel for you...
38mbs and for a fibre internet :D. That's a dialup speed
Not even worth your time. Terrible service!
The problem is that almost everyone is slowly moving to 24 month contracts - BT has already started it. And the days of collecting cashback, and then escaping the contract whenever the price was raised later (making the overall deal very cheap, if not free) are also gone, now that many service providers have added a clause allowing a price increase up to RPI. This makes a 12 month contract very attractive but only if the service quality is good.

I've been with them and had no problems apart from the supplied router was terrible for WiFi range. I used my old bt hub alongside but I've seen comments from people saying they don't allow that anymore (don't know how they can stop you). For a one storey flat is probably fine

I got 3 floors
Went with Post Office broadband last year without realising they used the Talk Talk network (would not have used them if I'd known). Constant dropouts. Was glad to see the back of them. Went with Now TV broadband and not had any problems so far for the few months I've been with them.

Depends what you need really, if your requirements are modest and it never goes wrong you should be fine.... TalkTalk in my experience though are a total bunch of muppets....

It’s really just for the kids so they can use their tablets and just for things like Netflix and amazon video. I currently only have a sim only mobile which they connect their tablets too but recently they have been using a bit too much of it and it eats all my data so saw this deal and thought it was a bargain but starting to doubt it a little.

Just left Sky for Now TV, was offered only as low as £27 due to them recently rebranding to ‘Superfast’ and would not go any lower. Switching to Now TV Fab Fibre, sister company, same router rebadged, hopefully the same lack of issues in performance.

We are existing customers and called Sky a week ago as our current offer expired and price went up so they said currently can do Broadband for £16 or 60Mb fibre for £21. Both include line rental. Give them a call.
Never understood why the word Fibre is even in the product title. The number 38mb and fibre should never be in the same sentence...

I was with them.for 12 months. 12.90 per month and free setup. Did so as new house miles from street so setup would.have been loads.
They were perfectly ok. Even support was fine to help me access router settings to allow Chromecast. Very good experience and no cashbacks etc hasstle
Surprised to see the -ve reviews... joined them recently, they switched the service on time. Communication was great and i am getting 38 Mb.
