Appears to be the cheapest price for both of the phones, without having to go through the faff of ordering a 30 day sim contract and then cancelling the contract.

Google Pixel 2 - RRP £629 - Selling for £619 (Saving of £10).

Google Pixel 2 XL - RRP £799 - Selling for £779 (Saving of £20).

For the Pixel 2 XL, directly ordering from Google for £799 has a stock availability from December for the White/Black colour variant, whereas Mobiles.co.uk for £779 showing stock availability from 15th of November, 2017.

I agree that this is cheapest price but I wouldn't risk excellent Google support (2 years if you buy from play store) for £10/£20 benefit.

Phone prices really are getting ridiculous. They seem to be on the opposite trajectory of other technology devices.

Or buy from Google / CPW and get the free Home Mini worth £50.

Home Mini is included in these sales as well - Google announced that ALL pre-orders will come with a free Home Mini, and Mobiles.co.uk is a sister site of CPW.

I'd prefer £50 off of the price, this speaker would be of no use to me. Unless just to sell it.

You should easily be able to flog it for £40+.

This is good deal as you can sell home mini (if not want) and save further. Pixel phones prices do not come down quickly like Samsung therefore pre order seems good deal

Agreed and that is why I've placed my preorder for Google Pixel 2 direct with Google , hoping the phone should last me about 3 years like my current HTC ONE M8 has , yes it's a lot of money but for something I use everyday it's worth it , plus I've always wanted to have stock android and a good camera

Surprised they used 4gb, 6gb would of been better

No headphones socket, which is a real shame. Good phone otherwise

Surprised they used 4gb, 6gb would of been better

No bloatware with stock android to slow it down, 4GB will be fine, I have 3GB on my Nexus 6P runs a dream with Oreo no lag at all

Why?

That's like saying 8gb would have also been better , just not necessary though as 4gb is more than enough , no point in increasing the price point and using more internal space and battery power when it's not needed.

I'd imagine that this will be the smoothest running android phone

cant wait to get my pixel 2

here here!

Google lost my Business after the 6p. Prices are daft and bluntly the Galaxy S8+ is a better device overall for alot less.

2 years warranty regardless if it's from Google or elsewhere. However if a warranty issue does arise, Google send you out a replacement device first, then ask you to send old one back.a third party retailer will not do that. You have to send back the phone and be phoneless for X amount of time.

Speaking from experience from someone who's sent back 2 handsets to Google. Pixel XL both.

I've been a Nexus/Pixel user for a long time and have heard horror stories on xda about non-play store purchases. My experience with Google device support have been faultless...I never had to deal with 3rd parties re warranty so I can only wish you good luck dealing with mobiles.co.uk.. Cheers
