    It's really not as bad as you're making out. All components can fail, but I'd say an SSD is low on the list, PSU is highest. And I've been building computers for years.

    You can say that with 99% if SSD manufacturers. Never store critical data on an SSD.

    I trying a 500gb one only came to about a tenner including vat, will update on the performance but should think it will be ok as sata m2s are old and the components are cheap now... supposed to be delivered today only ordered about a week ago, ive not been charged customs fees either.
    Has arrived looks faily legit, waiting for a pcie x4 adapter to plug this (and a nvme for bootdrive) into as ive only one sata m2 port and that already contains my o.s so bit of a hassle to test it atmo... (edited)
