Could I ask what's the difference with this one:
play.com/Mob…nre
and the premier one?
Both 2 GB and same manufacturers but you're saving money.

transfer speed:thumbsup:

More speed, basically replaces the extreme series for micro SD.

Premier:
10MB/sec read and 9MB/sec write

Standard:
10/9 MB/sec Read/Write

According to Amazon. Sandisks site doesn't state any difference.

£2.50 delivery

voted hot as this would be a good deal, pity i dont use SDs.

I vote warm because it's just the same as buying the 1GB Micro SD Card for £7.49 twice.

Delivery is only 99p if u get it from their Jersey base, dont use the UK base. Thats how you get it cheaper

No it's not the same, who wants to have to deal with 2 cards when they can have the same amount of storage space in a single card?.

Far more convenient and therefore a better deal than buying two 1GB cards.

I actually went with the £13.49 standard card, because tbh if you were concerned about speed then nobody should be buying a Sandisk in the first place!. The Premier Sandisk model is still slower than the standard models from their competitors!, if you really need a fast card then you need to get a Japanese manufactured (not the Taiwan one) Toshiba or Kingston card.

I know this is an 'old' thread BUT this offer is still on! Just bought one of these @play.com for my smartphone. (still best price)

Just to explain how the speed issue works. (after research) The normal Sandisk 2gb card only has a read/write speed of 1mb/s (both ways) but this one has 10mb/s read and 9mb/s write (see these links for specs: )

This is the 'premier' card featured in this thread:
mouse2house.co.uk/ind…TF1

This is the 'standard' card available for c£13
mouse2house.co.uk/ind…F2G

just using this retailer since they do (rare) like-for-like speed comparisons. But if you were to go for the £2 more expensive play.com card it would certainly make your digital camera/smartphone allot more punchier!
