I know this is still expensive, but these are still on sale for £44.99 at Boots and this is the cheapest I've ever seen them - and the cheapest ever on Amazon according to CamelCamelCamel.

You could also save an extra £1.09 and get them for £20.70 using Subscribe and Save if you can wait for them to be delivered before the end of the month.

Deal of the Day so be quick, ends midnight.

What on Earth is it?!
Heat. Literally paid £26 or something and expecting the arrival today. Dont think I can return as it was fulfilled by amazon only.
What’s it taken for?
They are for macular degeneration. Formulation helps to replenish, rebuild and maintain a healthy macular pigment.

From NHS:

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a common condition that affects the middle part of your vision. It usually first affects people in their 50s and 60s.
It doesn’t cause total blindness. But it can make everyday activities like reading and recognising faces difficult.
Without treatment, your vision may get worse. This can happen gradually over several years (“dry AMD”), or quickly over a few weeks or months (“wet AMD”).
The exact cause is unknown. It’s been linked to smoking, high blood pressure, being overweight and having a family history of AMD.

MacuShield is the UK's most recommended eye supplement. MacuShield is a lutein (10mg), zeaxanthin (2mg) and meso¬-zeaxanthin (10mg) once-a-day, easy to take food supplement. Scientific research shows that these three nutrients are found at the back of the eye, at the macula, where they form the macula pigment.
Just did a search on Amazon for marigolds extract & it brought up loads of other options... I'm a great fan of doing the research & if needed buying supplements separately to get best value - heat for good price on this particular product but can be done cheaper
The gold version is brilliant, really improved my eye sight, not sure about this one, but if you find the gold worth a try

How is this a deal when at least two other marketplace sellers sell it for £21?
Genuine question.
Not sure I'm missing something but I have the Gold version of this on subscription from Amazon and pay 17.99/months supply. (90 tablets). Cheaper for the improved formula.Surely that's a better deal?

Macushield Gold on Amazon.

You have to take 3 a day. So this one lasts longer as its one a day. I know from previous purchase wasn't good. Went back to the original. Was recommended by my optometrist.

That makes sense, thank you. To clarify, the original Macushield is the formula from the originals AREDS study and the Gold is from the AREDS 2 study, correct?
